Outcast!
Plot
When you're a genius, everyone expects you to say school is easy. That it's boring. Yet, Alexa has never found school any harder than her freshman year of high school. Elementary school was a breeze. Middle school? A cinch. So, why was high school so difficult for the child prodigy no one could challenge?
People hated her.
Suddenly, jealousy became a factor. Sitting alone in the library with a pile of books on your desk was no longer acceptable. Actually doing work in study hall? Pah! Ridiculous! The once popular girl quickly became the outcast, the friends that usually flocked to her quickly running away in fear of her now sour reputation. Now, she had to work to make friends, and that was harder than any textbook problem. Her parents, of course, were no help. "Just keep getting your straight A's and ignore them!" They said. Didn't they understand that she couldn't ignore the fact that she would be all alone at this school for four whole years if something didn't change? No dreamy boyfriends, no more best-friend sleepovers, nothing! Something had to change! But how?
You may play her teacher(s), a fake-friend, a bully, or a real friend. Any other ideas for who you might want to play are welcome!

Personality & History:
Somewhat spoiled, Alexa's parents knew she was smart from the get-go. An only child, she was immediately labeled as a prodigy as early as first grade. After all, she had started advanced multiplication before she started kindergarten, and her reading comprehension for her age was phenomenal. She breezed through elementary and middle school without a hiccup, and her parents coddled her, calling her the perfect child and spoiling her with constant treats and presents. Friends flocked to the class genius, and she became popular without even trying, despite being rather socially awkward. Although still left without a diagnosis, it would later be discovered that she had Asperger's Syndrome, a high-functioning form of autism that would normally make it difficult for her to find friends, if not for the fact that her genius-level intelligence made everyone want to study with her.
That was until she moved on to high school. The high school in her county is full of goof-offs and very few students actually worked--at all. There was more F's in the school than A's, B's, and C's combined. So, it was no surprise that when a spoiled genius freshman showed up on their doorstep, she'd be torn apart by bullies, jealousy, and fake friendships alike.
