Welcome to Camp Salem!

Camp Salem is a safe haven for young Witches and Warlocks and of course many other magical beings! The Salem Witch Trials were a trying time for our ancestors, and many of them watched their friends and loved ones be executed for their craft. Because of this and to protect the magical world, Camp Salem was created.

To this day, the camp still stands and flourishes under the watchful eye of Headmistress June with the help of a colourful group of rag tag witches and creatures of various races such as gargoyles, elves and even some werewolves!

The Year is 2020 and the magical world has been peacefully living among the normal one for decades. Camp SalemUnfortunately still stands as a place for young magical people to hone their crafts and build relationships with the magical community. But peace never holds for long. And darkness is creeping back into the world as more and more dark magic is being reported and rumoured about. Magical ley lines are going down, creating magical 'dead spots' where magical folk are weaker.


You have been selected because of your magical ability, and possibly your more mundane skills. You will be part of the team to defend the magical world. Are you up to the challenge?

RULES

1. Be nice to others, you may hate the character, don't hate the rper.

2. No over powered characters, those are no fun. Everyone has limitations.

3. Please keep replies to at least a paragraph per. I understand writers block, so I won't kill you if you have an off day, just don't give short replies every time.

4. Cursing is allowed, these are teenagers/young adults, they curse. Just don't be excessive.

5. Compliment yourself in your other section of you've read this far!

6. Let me know if you will be away for a few days, ill understand and ill update you when you get back! 

7. I will be playing a lot of extra characters in the beginning before we start our grand adventure, and this is just for plot purposes. They will not be very developed for the most part. The maximum characters per person is 1 for now, this is subject to change.


9. Please write in 3rd person. No exceptions. First person in roleplays is a bit of a pet peeve of mine. 

10. THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT RULE. Have a good time! Be kind to one another! PM me if you have questions/comments/concerns.
