Cat

Catherine, or Cat, as she prefers, woke up to a bright day. She squinted her eyes to get used to the bright sunlight, her vision blurry at first, but soon she could see well enough. A flood of past events crowded her mind, making her cringe. A searing pain hit her arm, which had previously been numb. Cat looked down, biting her lip as to not scream at the bloody, broken limb that was her arm. But no luck, she let out an ear piercing scream, tears streaming down her cheeks. Great, she thought, not only am i a wuss, now everything within 30 miles knows i'm here. She frowned at herself.

Michaelis | Feeling: Exhausted, Sore and Confused | Mentions: Open

The previous night before had terrified the usually stoic young man as he had not expected the plane carrying himself and a few others to go down and crash into a frozen lake. He had managed to escape after ripping off the seatbelt he had worn and grabbed what he could and swam to the surface. His side burned but what hurt the most were his frozen lungs trying to expand for air as he treded the surface. He had sworn he watched another form break the surface and move to land along with him but he didnt pay attention as he pulled himself ashore and looked for shelter. His green eyes blurry as he looked for what seemed hours but were really minutes until he found a opening large enough for him to squeeze into that led to an old den beneath ground. Out of the breeze he had stripped from his soaked clothing and laid them out to dry and curled up in the dirt to stay warm. When morning broke, the young man awoke with a gasp as a searing pain tore through him as he sat up and tried moving around. Groaning in pain, he looked down to his side and looked at the sever bruising and several gashes that he knew he would have to clean soon or else they'd get infected. Looking at his dry clothing, he pulled it on as slow as he could without upsetting his side, choosing to tear up his under shirt and wrap his side before he crawled from the hole. Just as he surfaced he heard an ear piercing scream and jumped as he looked around before spotting a blood trail that lead to a hollow tree. Hello? He called out, unsure if he heard that right.

Cat perked up at the sound of a young mans voice. She got up wearily, her broken arm set firmly in her hand. She walked in the direction she heard the voice, seeing a boy, probably around 18, her age, sitting by a tree.
"Hello?" She called out uncertainly, trembling slightly. She took a deep breath, composed herself, and walked towards him slowly. She stopped around 10 feet from him, awaiting his move.

Molly | Location - in a small cave | 17 years old | Mentions - Open

Molly woke up, blinking in the sunlight. She at first was confused as to where she was, but then remembered what happened, her stomach lurching at the memory. She had been knocked out on the plane crash, and woke up to see almost no body left. She had no clue what happened to them, and had fled the plane. She knew that cold places were dangerous at night, and had quickly searched for somewhere to stay. She found a cave and... There she was.

After yawning and stretching her arms, she searched through her backpack. She had a sandwich that had been meant for the plane... A blanket, a book, a dogsled harness and a photo of her and her brother. She looked from the harness to the photo, she had meant to give her brother the harness as something to use to think of her when he was lonely, but she wouldn't get to do that now. She decided to keep everything in her bag, and save the sandwich for later. She figured she might need them later, even the book. What if someone attacked her, she could hit them with a book and a dog harness! Well, it was all she had, so it would have to work.

Molly used the buttons on her coat, over the zipper for once, hoping it would make her warmer. Her coat wasn't much for looks, but it was warm, and thankfully, the buttons tightened it on her and made it warmer. She looked down at her rag-like pants. They'd have to do as well. She started to walk out of the cave, her boots making loud crunching noises as they sank into the snow. She sighed, her breath forming a small foggy cloud in the air. She would of enjoyed it if she hadn't been so desperate to find civilization, and food.

Cat trembled, her long brown hair blew wild in the wind, which had started to pick up. Looking around, she saw very few survivors, all teenagers. She wondered if she should head towards the boy, or someone else. She didn't know anyone here, much less knew where HERE was. Cat clenched her broken arm, looking around to see exactly who was here. Besides her, she saw a girl and two boys, all around her age. She looked at the boy who she had walked to, them at the other boy. She walked away from the one who had called out, and over to the one farther away, but then she stopped, feeling the called outboy's stare on her back.

Molly lifted a hand against the wind, shielding her face. She faintly saw two human figures. She opened her mouth to call out to them, but closed it again. What if they were dangerous? Could they even help her? If they had been on the plane when it crashed, maybe they were so desperate to commit cannibalism and eat her? No, she was just stressing to much, it had been to soon since the crash. Besides maybe they knew where civilization was. "Excuse me? Uh... can anyone help me?" She asked. She wondered if they would suddenly charge at her, her father had suddenly raced at her before many times. Molly had to remind herself that these people were not her father, and might be good people like her friend and brother. She blinked in the cold, waiting for a reply.

The voice of the girl echoed through her head. She walked slowly towards her, waving with her good hand. She stopped a few inches away. "Hello. Are you ok? You look scared..." She asked kindly in a friendly voice. The girl, maybe younger than her, was obviously horrified at her prediciment. And cat bloody, bruised arm with the bone slightly showing probably didn't help.

Jaz woke up and looked around for someone, anyone. not to far she sees a girl calling out. Jaz starts to walk over waving slowly, trying to get the girls attention. turning to see what she what the girl was looking at and noticed another figure. she waved again and shouted over the storm "Does anyone know where we are?"

Cat looked at the two girls and shrugged. "Somewhere in Alaska, probably." Cat looked around, pointing at the boy who had called out to her. "There's a boy over there. And one there to." Cat then pointed her finger at the boy she was mildly sure was called leo.

Molly stared at Cat surprised. It didn't disturb her or bother her about her bruises and injuries, she had seen plenty herself. She had some cuts and bruises too, but she was used to it, and it was nothing as bad as the other girl! "Am I OK? Are YOU OK? What happened to your arm?" She asked though she thought she probably knew the answer.

Molly suddenly heard the voice of another person and whipped around, spinning on her heals, almost falling in the snow. "Ah-er, no." she replied, flustered by how she appeared out of nowhere. Molly hadn't seen her coming up to them. She motioned the other girl over maybe they could help each other.

Cat chuckled. "I'll manage." The girl smiled. She suddenly crouched, pulling the others down with her. When they looked at her confused, she put a finger to her lips and pointed. A wolf was stalking them. She walked towards the wolf on all fours, letting out a low,threatening growl. The wolf turned and ran, his tail between his legs.
