Hello! Over the past few days I've been playing the Serengeti Shuffle. I understand that it's timed, but I don't understand what the lives are for? Because, one my timer runs out, it takes a life from me, but it either makes me start over or submit my score. What's the point of the other two lives if I don't get to use them? Also, my score on this game when it ended was 3580, as you can see in the background, but it only gives me 3520 on the submit score thing. xD 0 players like this post! Like? |

The lives get taken when the board has no more combinations you can shift to make a line; it will then make you loose a life and generate a new board that you can keep shifting on untill timer runs out. That's their main purpose actually! 0 players like this post! Like? |

The lives are there so if you run out of moves on your board, it can reset, but takes a life. The reason your score isn't 580, is because last second moves don't count :) 0 players like this post! Like? |

Thank you, I understand that except for the fact that when this particular game ended I lost a life right at the end of the game... the board did not shuffle... and I just sat there while the timer ran out because I couldn't do anything lol. Also, the score thing xD Also... if last second moves don't count, what is the point of this game? Lol. I feel like my entire score should count. I'm trying to actually play these games but I'm finding that they're actually just a waste of time. xD 0 players like this post! Like? That's perfectly normal, I always lose one life when the game itself ends :) However, it may not have shuffled simply because it was so close to ending. Like I said above, any last second moves you make won't be counted unfortunately. I can't really add much in this department. Usually last second moves only give you 20-50 extra points, so not all that much tbh 0 players like this post! Like? Edited on 17/09/17 @ 10:14:20 by Sockwolf (#115301) |

To add to Sockwolf's explanation, the last second moves is when the game already ended, timer is out but the send score menu havent come up yet - there's only like a 1-2 seconds between game ends and score window pops up, but you might still shuffle something in that time. That's why it doesnt count - the game already ended, so those scores arent actually in your score. The game ends at the exact moment timer reaches 0 - not when score window comes up, it appears a few seconds after the game has ended. 0 players like this post! Like?
