Hi! I recently got my hands on a female dwarf and would like to breed her to produce more dwarves, however she is my first ever and i dont know where to start!

I always hear people talk about using lion balls when breeding, or else your chance of getting a dwarf is basically 0. but in theory, could I use any item which increase chance of mutation? such as CRB or a GMO Cow?

does the dwarf have to be bred to a dwarf king or does the stud not effect the chances of a dwarf produced?

and finally if you have any other tips or tricks then please let me know! <3 thanks!

1. I don't believe a dwarf can be bred without lion balls. Although I've heard rumors that they can just randomly be born, I'm not 100% sure how that works nor how accurate it is. If what you're asking is, can you use it in place of lion and buff balls- the answer is no. Most of the time, you'll end up with a foldie, AMP, or achromia. The best combo is a lion scrotum (increases mother's chance of passing mutation to 25%) and Buffy balls (guarantees at least 3 cubs in a litter) as you're pretty certain to get at least one dwarf cubbin :)

2. No, the only type of mutation the father passed, is primal and piebald. The father will play no part in the passing of a dwarf

Best of luck, and congrats on your dwarf gal!

Hello!

Yes, it is possible to obtain a dwarf with any mutation inducing item, however using a lion scrotum is your best chance as it gives the female a chance to pass her mutation. The stud doesn't affect your dwarf at all, as the only mutations which naturally pass are Piebald, Primal and OverGrown Fur.

Don't be disappointed if you don't get a dwarf on the first few tries, sometimes it takes over a 100 times to just get one mutie.
