Laira's ear twitched at the sound of a yelping wolf. It was faint and she couldn't tell what they were saying but the wolf was in the direction of the females scent. She took time to asses the scent a bit more smelling fear. She was younger, afraid, and alone. Laira's last thought... alone. Laira was lonely herself and new the worst thing ever was to be alone. This made her heart ache and she howled loud and clear not caring that would hint to the other wolves where she was. She hoped the she wolf would hear her.

Aleera's black ears swiveled to hear the loud howl in response. Aleera didn't even stop to think if the wolf replying might be dangerous in anyway. She never did, she was quite a trusting and oblivious wolf, which wasn't that good. But it could help her right now at least. The silver she-wolf bounded towards the direction of the howl wondering who it was. She felt so alone right now she didn't care if it was some demonic creature that would use her for its own good! She just wanted to see another living creature. She stopped to sniff the air to see how far away the other wolf was. But once again couldn't decipher where the wolf was by scent and went in the direction she remembered the howl had come from. Sure enough, she spotted the dark furred wolf and came over tentatively now.

Laira saw the silver female approach. She cautiously neared the wolf slowly circling her taking in her scent. The she wolf was definitely the female she had scented from before. She smelled like fire and fear. She had a silvery coat but couldn't smell any blood from a possible injury. Could it be she escaped from the wild fire too. Laira halted in her tracks. Yes she must have. She thought. She sat down relaxing letting her muscles relax. "Why are you alone?" She said unable to stop an almost motherly tone with the she wolf.

Aleera was still tense with fear, her fur on end. "Th-the fire. I escaped but I don't know if my family did too." The silver she-wolf croaked out choking on her own words. She felt a wave of grief hit over her when she spoke her words out in reply to the other she-wolf. Shouldn't her family have been right behind her? Had they gone a different way maybe? They had to have gotten out! She didn't know how she would cope with knowing her family had died. It brought fear to her heart and shone through her green eyes. She focused back on the other wolf, who was she? She seemed friendly enough to trust.

Laira didn't hear anything she couldn't have already found out but she she hated to break it to the fearful wolf that there were no wolves with the same scent as hers. She thought about going back with her to look for them but remembered the wolves chasing her. Either this wolf was in danger being with her or in danger being alone. She couldn't tell if this wolf could speak to spirits or not and highly doubted that if she did her family had survived. The death wolves would have killed them if they didn't get caught in he fire. She would be putting the she wolf in deaths hands if they went back. But she was still conflicted knowing what it feels like to wonder if you left them alone. If this didn't know what she was it oils be a challenge and if she wasn't the same as her then the silver she wolf was better off far from her. Laira paused looking at her, her eyes showing obvious conflict and deep thought.
