The purpose of these apps are to randomly get one. It's not set to lean towards a certain marking (as far as I'm aware). I've spent many GB on fiery markings, and yes, it did cost a lot, but it's not meant to be easy. Getting a duplicate is just a downfall, but I'm sorry. People spend their money on what they want. If this would be implemented, it would devalue many markings and especially quad marked kings with their appropriate marks.

No. The purpose of the App is to reward you a mark for your hard work. The randomization is bulllshit, especially for more expensive apps like Enclave.

Anyway, I have this exact same topic here with more reasons why randomization is bullshit (and why "that's just how it is" isn't an acceptable answer to it). If you could support that, I'd be really grateful!

You know the risk when using these apps. The risk adds an element to the applicators, which, if not there would devalue them completely. That's not even mentioning the fact that people will throw a fit if this is implemented. "Why did they get the mark they wanted and I had to buy 7 apps just to get the one I wanted?"

Allowing this would devalue markings even more than the current market is like. In all honesty, no one is forced to buy apps. Just be wary of what you choose to make a project with! :)

Actually, as a person who have bought about 10 bb apps so far and 8 of them were duds, I wouldn't mind at all.

I've bought 5 doubloon apps and ALL of them were duds. I would love this, speak for yourself.

"You know the risk" Not good enough. There should be no risk for something I worked hard for and purchased. The randomness needs to at LEAST be controlled so players don't get the same fuckin' mark 8 5+ times in a row.

As a purchaser of fiery apps, I've used over 10 on my king to get him quad fiery. Sure, it costed.
As for brand new marks like Bloodbourne, implementation of this would result in immediate deflation. Moreso for the other applicable markings. This includes Fiery, Maroon, cloudburst, and many other markings that currently are thriving because they aren't extremely easy to obtain. If you plan on devoting resources to an expensive set of markings, just be prepared to spend money, that's all I can say. Blaming the game for your choice isn't fair.

You realize people are already selling the mark for like? 4 gb. In fact I just bought all the 4gb ones and have a bunch under my belt as we speak. If everyone's so worried about the market tanking, make them more expensive. Harder to get, less of them = more value BUT we still get a choice in marks.
