So, I've many times come across branches that I really like, with good items and good prices. Naturally, I want to come back to the branch, but completely forgotten who owned it, or to bookmark it. Then it's almost impossible to find it again, unless you get really lucky, or remember an item they were selling (And hoping no one bought it!).

That's why I think there should be an option to search for branches, incase you've forgotten to bookmark it. As in the actual name of the branch.

Say you find a nice branch called IKEA, with nice prices n' all that jazz. You buy your item, and continue your day. But later you realize that it was a nice branch that you'd like to re-visit. But, oh no! You've forgotten to bookmark it, and completely forgotten what the owners name was! So here's the idea: Either you can search for the branches name (In this case, it would be IKEA), or see a history of recently visited branches.

Of course, there are some other ways of doing this, but hear me out:
• Yes, you could check your transaction history.
But, my point is that there are a lot of players buy A LOT of things, or
maybe it was ages ago, and you haven't thought of the idea to check the
TH until now. Plus that not everybody knows about it, or have forgotten.
Especially new players.

• Why don't you just search for the player ID? The branch is visible in their
desc!
Well, as i previously mentioned, it happens to me (And I imagine quite a
few others) that you've forgotten their name, or maybe they have the
most complicated name of all time. And I don't really expect someone to
just remember an ID without reason...

• Even if there are other solutions that are a bit complicated, can't you just
ask for help?
Of course you can, but I think it's better with a very clear solution,
instead of more intricate (And sometimes next-to impossible ways) of
doing it, considering that they don't always work.

I think it would be a small, but useful thing.

EDIT: I got a great idea from the user Thalmor, which could also be added for the branch-searching:

•Having a list of the branches you've recently purchased from.

I'd love to hear why you agree or not, or other suggestions to this idea. Thank you! :)

How would this work though? Like what criteria would you use to search for the branches?

Couldn't you just bookmark the branch?

I mentioned in the post that it happends that you forget to bookmark, only to remember much later that you wanted to re-visit it. I don’t know about you, but it happends waay to often for me!

Perhaps make it so you could search for branches with the user ID instead? Because searching for just the name is kinda.. unreliable for those who change their branch names relatively often + the unfortunate chance of needing to find a branch that's just named "New Branch" or something generic and common. ;;
Also, perhaps a page that says the branches you've visited in the past few weeks or whichever time frame, in a similar format of the forum activity page?
And possibly, in addition to that, an option to narrow it down to the branches you've bought from? (Although that can be found in your SB/GB history, but it involves a lot of scrolling to find if you buy a lot of things.)

I love Thalmor's idea, having a list of the recent branches we purchased from.

Clicking on your gold beetles or silver beetles shows a transaction history. I'm not sure how far back it goes (mine goes back pretty far!) but that could be a way to look up past branches you've purchased from.

I dont really understand this concept.
You can already search for specific items on a branch.
Also. You van just search the users ID. It takes you to their page where there you can see the branch.

Yeah, I know, although that's not the point. The point is that if you encounter a branch that you really like, and forget to bookmark it, then you'll be able to search for the name of the branch.

For example, let's imagine that you find a branch named IKEA, that have good prices, and updates regularly. You buy your item, and a bit later remember that it was a sweet branch that you'd like to keep visiting, although you don't know the users name, and forgot to bookmark it.
Of course, as an earlier user said, you can check your transaction history and click from there. But I think that's a bit too intricate, especially for new users. The point of this suggestion is that you should be able to search for the name of the branch and/or be able to see a list of recent purchases.
So, back to IKEA: if this got implemented, then you'd be able to just neatly type in "IKEA", click around a bit, and find the branch you were looking for.

Or, maybe you've heard of a recommendation, and really want to see if the rumors are true about a great branch.
I just simply think this would be much simpler than digging in your memory to remember who's branch it was, or scrolling down a long transaction history. I don't really see any negative sides of this except there being other ways of finding it, because in my opinion, this is just a much easier way of doing it.

Thanks for sharing your opinion, and I hope this brings another side of opinion!

Thats not in the post. So the idea is very unclear.
So maybe you should add that in to the post. I was completely clueless on what the idea was.
Sorry. Not trying to be rude, just stating my opinion.
