Why should Smokey Quartz be added?
I noticed we didn't have really any black gemstones and since there is already a base called 'obsidian' I looked to smokey quartz as the next best. Yes, we do have Nuumite, but that won't make pure black jewelry it will have gold flecks and I know some people don't like the gold and just want black gemstones. I also thought it could make some pretty cute bases or eyes, and the introduction of a new gemstone could be really cool. Yes we already have a quartz aka Phantom Quartz, but it's not a craftable like all the other gems, plus its more amber in color.

Well how common would they be then?
I don't think they should be all that common, maybe have a month when they're a lot more common. Smokey Quartz could go along with the August event Droughts and Fires since smokey and fire a simple connection really. Perhaps it should show up a bit more than Nuumite does under normal conditions and not event ones.

Okay, but where are these bases and eyes you were talking about?
