Welcome stranger, to my little shack full of some amazing fluffabutt Drakoleonis.
Let me tell you something about these creatures, you might want to know what you're looking at, before buying.

We all know that at some point, dinosaurs used to roam the land. However, we never found solid proof that dragons did, too. They were a deadly force back in the old days, strong enough to survive even the meteor that killed their land-bound cousins. They never seemed to die, and their remains were never found, if they did end up dying out.

Gifted with the ability to mimic anything of their choice, dragons were diverse beings. If they were constantly thirsty, they mimicked a cactus. Their coloring would change and they would become more spiky, but they could survive on less water. If the climate was too hot or too cold, they copied the creatures that had adapted. However, such a gift was often too dangerous to hold for long. The dragons began to look more and more like other species. Finally, their sights settled on a powerful creature: the wolf. They became fast, agile runners, dangerous beasts with endless stamina and an eye for the kill, only for the price of their wings. But over time the wolves they mimicked became tame, made to be friends of humans. The dragons looked to another species that would give them such strength as the wolves once had.

After a long time of searching, the dragons found lions. They copied the lion's skill, efficiency, and ability to survive. Their final modification was complete. They no longer looked like dragons, though; it had been lost long, long ago. They no longer had wings, their ears were vastly different, and they lacked many of the spikes and horns they'd had previously. Instead, they donned a fur crest like the lions, paws from the wolves, and an overall doglike appearance. Their scales were saved, as was their love for gems, but with time, evolution, and constant modifications, they'd lost their ability to mimic others.

Now called the Drakoleonis, these creatures stalk the lands in the cover of night, rarely leaving a trace of their presence. They seem to have come from another dimension and carry an otherworldly, odd quality about them. Their magic may be gone, but they still seem to carry it somehow in the baubles they wear around their necks....
