The Story Of Euthera

She was a silent beast, she spoke only for the wind.
No one knew who she once was, but the giant Condor we know as our queen does have some known history.
Before the war, she had an oath of silence in honor to the godess of wind Aither, and swore only to speak for her until the time called. Soon, it did.
From a lonely hollow in a cavern she claimed to have heard the clashing of steel from the distance. Following its source she found the great Arial war in its first stages, a scruff of blooded birds ripping eachother wing from wing. Being the historical one she was, she chose the side of the Fae and began to slash through the relentless hoards. After a year of struggle she was reported being seen wearing the leader of the Grantez skull, adorned with the feathers of his advisor.

The Fae council made the decision to crown her soon afterward.
Instead of wearing the bejewled headband, she fitted the gemstones into the skull of her victem.

The Jailer

One day an eagle, demented and insane attacked the township setting fire to the buildings and smokescreening the canyon. Euthera was at a loss, she could not locate the attacker from in the canyon, as she tried despretly to aprehend him. The entire community joined in, but it was not be seen.
Days later he struck again, though in his attempt to rush away was caught in a hunters rat snare and his left wing was brutaly ripped away. To prove to the disbelievers she was not cruel, she freed the eagle and arrested him, but also hired numerous healers to stop the bleeding of what was left. He was placed in a secluded cell in a deep crevice in the canyon.
Many are still calling her cruel, and incolent for not killing him.
