The Boy in Question

The lion above is my heir. I am planning on studding him out as soon as he's kinged, but I wanted to know how much I should charge for him. I have never studded before so I would greatly appreciate a second opinion on the matter.

When he is kinged he will have at least 1k stats and will have a Mutie on Demand: Primal Mutation applied to him (for the sake of this post I applied Primal Mutie to him in wardrobe).

Additionally, I would like to know if wether or not my heir is actually appealing as a stud. Would you stud him? Could you see others studding him? Does he even look good? Thank you if you are willing to answer these questions as well. :)

I don’t think the calculations in that guide will help much with the current studding market tbh - it’s from way back in '14 when things were really different.

Personally I don’t use a lot of outside studs, but in general I would say that when in doubt price low. That way if you find slots are selling well you can always raise the stud fee in the future to keep up with demand c:

Primals are common these days (though quad Celestial is always nice imo), so I think I’d probably just go for the minimum stud fee - which would be 250 if he has 10 markings - and see how it goes. Hope that helps a little! :)

Ahhh thank you for the advice! Setting his stud fee as low as you said is probably the best thing to do. I put quite a bit of beetles into his appearance, and didn't want to over or under-price him (I want to make back all the beetles I spent on him lol). Reading what you said reassured me though, I'm sure everything will turn out fine.

Anyway, thanks again, I really appreciate it! :DDD
