April hid in the dumpster, peering out of one of the small holes in the side. She watched the Catchers finally get back in their car, tired of searching for her. She sighed in relief, and popped out after the car drove off. She looked at her flowers, they were wilted slightly, but still holding strong. She briefly drank some water from a puddle nearby, and the flowers perked up.

Ollie came hurtling around the corner at the sound of fresh water. She had been nearby, cowering from the Catchers; she needed something to drink, and badly. At the sight of a flower-covered mutt, she froze. "Uh, uh, is it alright if I take a sip or two? I need some real bad. And, uh, you look great," she added hastily.

Aries lifted his head from the trashcan, a piece of chicken dangling from his jaws as he glances around. The sound of a car had caught his attention and upon seeing it he quickly scarfs down the food and books it down the alleyway, not wanting to run into the catchers again. He had just escaped from the pound when the lazy guard forgot to lock his cage properly and he wasn't in a hurry to go back anytime soon. As he turns a corner to move into a different alley he stops short as he sees two other dogs huddling around a puddle. Aries looks them over and only after he considered them to not be a threat does he continue walking his way down the alley.

April looked up. She nodded. "Sure. And thanks." She moved aside to let Ollie through.

Ollie hastily lapped up the rainwater. Clean enough, she guessed, though she didn't really care. A clipping of nails was heard and Ollie sprang up, looking around wildly for the intruder.

The large dog notices that one of the other dogs is startled, a greyhound he thinks?, and glances around to see what startled her. He sees nothing else in the alleyway and realizes that it was probably him that caused her to jump and just kind of shrugs in a way that dogs do. As he gets closer he suddenly feels out of place and awkward, never really being good at conversations. "Hello."

Sassy-

Sassy tried getting up but banged her head on the cage. She tried growling but was in weak condition she could barely bark, talk, growl, whine. Sassy tried looking in her food bowl but was empty it has been for 4 days, she looked at her water bowl, of course nothing like it has also been for 3 days. Sassy heard the door open from the jingle but it was just an employee. Sassy let out a bark.
But the employee gave her a harsh, "Oh shut up you big brat"! Sassy flattened her ears.

A low growl erupted within the canine's throat as she trotted along the sidewalks of the human filled city, keeping her head held a little low and ears shifted forward as she appeared to be on the more alert and cautious side, her gaze flickering around at her surroundings and the objects she passes. The female looked surprisingly well nurtured for a simple stray, not being too thin despite her portioned diet, though she often ate anything edible she found, but only if it contained meat. Occasionally, the mix would take to eating critters such as rats or mice, though it was more of a snack only, and after she usually headed out to the city to get a more filling meal. The pale furred female soon came to a stop in her tracks, lifting her head as she sniffed the air briefly, catching a whiff of several other scents, which belonged to other dogs and from what she could tell, they were strays as well. Out of slight curiosity, Yuki carefully followed where the scents lead, stopping just before an alley in which she then caught sight of three dogs, a jumpy seeming grayhound, a mutt with flowers, and some sort of dog which looked to be some sort of working breed, though she wasn't completely sure. She let out a low bark, unintentionally announcing her prescence as she stood with a cautious yet curious demeanor, her head raised slightly and her ears perked upward, tail stiff behind her as she stared with curiosity.

Ollie let out a curse. "Another one! Where are you guys coming from? Are you going to gang up on us? I swear I just wanted a drink of water!" Her voice was filled with despair and dread- she didn't want to be killed today.

Sassy-

Sassy tried biting through the cage bars but didn't work, she then thought of a new trick, and put her nose through bars and tried unlatching the lock which worked. Sassy kept quite and jumped down from her cage, and pushed the door open and walked out into the world, actually being able to stand in quite some time. She then used her nose to sniff out a garbage can and found a half eaten chicken strip. She dug into that loving the taste, now she just needed a big water source since it's been a while.
