Lightstar

Lightstar padded out of her den and stretched a bit, basking in the warm glow of the sun. She'd need to check up on the fresh-kill pile for evidence of invading badgers or dogs, as well as organizing a border patrol and a few hunting parties. She padded towards the fresh-kill pile, which had grown larger over the past few seasons. Prey was running high, and the rabbits seemed to be multiplying a lot more than they had previously. For every hare caught, two more seemed to pop up. WindClan was prospering because of it.

Lightstar wandered towards the ThunderClan border, the place where badgers had been spotted last. Their scent was still as stale as before and there was no sign of a badger den nearby. Well, we won't have to worry about them for the time being. She returned to the camp and began busying herself with the number of apprentices that could be made warriors and the kits that could be made apprentices. Sadly enough, there were very few. The Clan was still very small, and despite Lightstar's efforts to find loners with an interest in joining the Clan, the dens remained empty.
