Shadow
Shadow looked at Light and nodded.
“Hello, Brother,” he said, before making the request he had planned on. “I want two more moons for the night sky- a mostly transparent one that doesn’t give much light, and another moon whose phases will change at different times than the one you have just made. I also want lots of constellations.”

Spring

Spring had been listening to the others silently. The sudden darkness had scared her to a degree, but she calmed down when Shadow introduced himself. Could we really have been somewhere else? It is true that I can't really remember anything... There must be a reason for that. This didn't exactly worry Spring, she saw it as an opportunity to discover something new.

She stood there in darkness until there was a sudden, bright light. Spring rapidly blinked, trying to adjust to the change in lighting. Once she could properly see again, she looked up. What was once just a normal black sky was now the home to a brilliant full moon. Spring looked back down at the others. She saw her sisters and the two other Elementals that were introduced as Earth and Air. The others must be Shadow and Light. Spring listened to the request of Shadow, and it made her smile. "Oh, yes, that would look beautiful!" She exclaimed. "And it's better late than never, Light."

Summer

The golden Season thought on Shadow's words and opened her mouth to ask him a question, when suddenly Light spoke, and the sudden light of the moon made her blink as she waited for her eyes to adjust. She glared at him a little, looking him up and down with a huff. "It would have been more convenient if you had woken up first," She grumbled as another shiver from the cold ran up and down her spine. Air's little cocoon of air did little to protect her, though it did keep her body heat close to her.

Air

The tall Element rubbed his thumb in a small circle on Winter's shoulder as he studied Light and Shadow, eyes narrowed and his mouth pulling down into a frown. He considered what Shadow said and wondered what it would mean for him and the other Elements. He could see issues with Earth, but he was sure they could easily sort everything out. "So what do you think our purpose is here, then?" he asked Shadow, head tilted slightly.

Shadow
Shadow smiled at Spring’s outburst, glad that she agreed with his idea. “I think so to,” he said in his resonant voice, before turning to Air.
Shadow observed the tall Elemental, thinking of how best to respond. He couldn’t help but notice the protective way that Air held Winter, as if daring anyone to hurt her or get between them. They made a well-matched pair, he thought, but it was a little odd that they were already a couple. Unless they’d been together wherever they were before they were here? That was something to think on. After thinking for a time, he finally responded, “I think we are supposed to bring life to this empty place,” he answered solemnly, “and we can always do our best to discover what brought us here to do so.”

Winter
Winter nodded at Shadow’s words. She’d had a similar feeling when she woke. And she thought she’d heard a voice whisper that this place was called Mior.
“Yes,” she said. “I think Shadow is right... when I woke, Mior had woken too, I think. Or... whatever brought us to Mior was awake.”
She didn’t say the rest of what she was thinking... that she had a feeling that something or someone was watching them, but whether it was Mior or what had brought them to Mior, she did not know.

Fall

Fall continued walking, and gradually the murmuring of voices reached her ears. She froze for a moment and then proceeded forwards slowly and quietly in an attempt to conceal her presence for as long as possible. She could sense whoever was nearby; a cold presence, probably the one who had brought the snow, a very warm, lively presence, a darker being, and something whose presence seemed to be more spread out, shifting with every passing moment. Air, Winter, Shadow, Summer. A heat slightly less than Summer's, Spring, had joined them as well, along with Shadow's opposite, Light. It was a large group, and it was interfering with her ability to sense her surroundings. Fall proceeded with more caution than before; she didn't like having her senses dulled.

Fall stopped moving when she was able to discern words. "...whatever brought us to Mior was awake." What? She wasn't sure what the speaker meant, but judging by their tone it was something important, as they were speaking solemnly and quietly. She wasn't sure that she'd been brought to this place, Mior, but it was a plausible explanation for why she'd woken up in the middle of this snow-ridden planet. She glanced at the sky, realizing there was something above her. A star? Moon? Whatever it was called. She hadn't interacted with any other elementals in so long that the words used to name things had become mixed up in her head.

She moved in towards the group, ever so carefully for fear of disturbing their conversation. They might be hostile, as elementals sometimes are when they're interrupted in the middle of something important. Fall had experienced that plenty of times before. Finally, she was within sight of the group. The snow had thinned enough that she could see them clearly, although she didn't think they were paying attention to her due to the important content of their conversation. Fall took a few more steps, less carefully this time. She didn't need to bother with being sneaky; the group didn't look hostile and certainly didn't seem like they would jump her at any moment. A few steps later and she was standing almost directly behind the one that gave off a cold aura, Winter. "Excuse me?" she said, abandoning all attempts at staying out of their conversation. "What do you mean about something putting us on Mior?"

Air

"Mior?" Air echoed, feeling how the name rolled off his tongue and huffed. "Well, I think before we figure out how to create and bring life here, we should figure out at least some kind of order," He said as he looked at the three Seasons, Shadow, and Light. "Before anything can live here, we need to create a balance. Right now all we have is a flat, round rock covered in snow, and so far we have no idea how long it will be night." He looked at those around him, wondering if anyone else agreed with him. If their purpose was to create life, then shouldn't they do so? And to make it manageable for all of them to coexist peacefully, they needed to figure out a balance. Otherwise Summer was going to freeze to death, and all the Elements would be all out of whack.

Winter
Winter leaned away from Air, slightly, so that she could see who spoke to her, before leaning back into him.
“Fall!” she exclaimed, smiling. “Come over here.” Winter wondered how she should answer Fall’s question, when Fall hadn’t been here for the whole conversation. After a moment’s thought, she answered,
“We think... we were somewhere else before we were here,” she said quietly. “It’s odd how we can’t remember anything before waking up.” She bit her lip before revealing something she hadn’t yet said. “And I was the first to wake up. And when I did, I heard a voice. It told me this planet was called Mior.”
She shifted slightly, taking solace in Air’s touch, in his presence. “I’m not sure how we got here. But either Mior itself told me its name, or whatever brought us to Mior told me what our new home was called.”
Thinking of home, Winter suddenly thought it would be nice to have a place to sleep and rest. She should talk to Air about building a house for them. She thought it had been quite a while since they had woken, and she was feeling a bit tired.

Fall

Fall leaned back on her heels and nodded, frowning. "But then why were we put here? And if Mior is a living entity, what is its life force?" She knew that Winter couldn't possibly answer her question, as she had previously been pooling information with the others in the group, but she still wanted answers to everything she didn't understand. She found herself quite frustrated due to her confusion, exhaustion, and everything that had happened since she woke on Mior. The temperature raised a few degrees and Fall realized it was due to this irritation; she quickly stomped down on her power to stop it from interfering with the world around her.

She could sense Winter's energy waning. "Maybe we had better get some rest and think about this later," she said. "I'm tired, we're probably all tired, and sleep is supposed to help with processing information and coming up with new ideas." Who knows where I even learned that. The truth was, the more Fall thought about it, the more plausible the idea that something had put all of the elementals on Mior seemed. All of her prior knowledge about the world and about elementals had to come from somewhere, and she certainly hadn't had the time to learn all of it upon waking up.

I’m going to restart this with an empty slate and anyone who wishes to participate can rejoin when the new thread is made.
