Description (or picture):
Rainstar is a short haired dark gray and black striped cat, with parts of him completely black, he has white paws and stunning yellow eyes. He's long limbed and has a lot of lean muscle although it doesn't show that much. His most notable scars are his torn ears, on both ears, and long scratches across his face, eyes, muzzle and mouth.

Personality:
Rainstar is a calm, level headed cat, he doesn't like to start arguments and fights, although he does love the thrill of fighting and defending his clan. He's very loyal to his clan, and puts his clan above himself, most of the time. He's not set out for revenge but is a bit petty. Rainstar is playful at times, but knows when to be serious. He's stubborn, it's hard to change his mind once he has it set on something and hates loosing, whether it be in fights, arguments or competitions.

Backstory:
Rainstar was born in Marshclan, he had a very pretty mother, Willowflower, who was taken by the best fighter and strongest tom, Stormheart. Willowflower couldn't be kept in a committed relationship and often slept and flirted with other toms, as an apprentice, she was clawed badly on her lower belly and region and was told she would never be able to be a mother like she always wanted to be, she slowly became like this, she hated other she-cats because she thought they might take away one of her flings. In other words, she really was a piece of dirt. Stormheart was completely smitten with her and would turn a blind eye to all of this.

One day, she found out she was pregnant with kits, who knew if they were really even Stormheart's, Stormheart was delighted, he thought that if she was to bare kits, she would be a good mother like how she always wanted to be and be committed to their relationship, oh how he was wrong. Willowflower was much past her dreams of being a mother, she was horrified that she was getting plumper by the day but she couldn't and didn't know how to kill the kits inside of her without killing herself. Eventually she gave birth, Stormheart and other queens (The nursery was very full at the time) were always watching so she wouldn't just kill the kits off.

Willowflower found that she had become less beautiful, time had finally caught up to her and she was no longer a pretty young she-cat, wanted by most of the toms. Especially now that she had kits, her pursers were gone and looking for a mate of their own. She was devastated. Willowflower blamed her kits and didn't think they deserved to die a nice death as a young kit, she let them grow up but tortured them everyday, but claimed that it was from playing rough or accidents. This left Rainstar- Rainkit then, named by Stormheart, with torn ears and scars all over his tiny body, most noticeable on his face. Willowflower grew up hating herself and her kits, her kits grew up without love from their mother. One of Rainstar's siblings became a medicine cat, and when Willowflower came back very wounded from battle, his sibling did little to attempt to save her. Rainstar was the only one who found out but he thought it was a very fitting and painful death for Willowflower. As far as Rainstar knows, Willowflower didn't go to Starclan.
