I made a huge mistake with my heir, of doing the base, mane, and markings with applicators before customizing him. Is there a way to make him custom but keep the mane, base, and marks I put on with apps, as well as keep his mutation? He is a normal primal but I do not have a mod. Customizing a king will keep their mutation, but will wipe their appearance and replace it completely with the customized one. So while he would keep the Primal mutation either way, if you wanted to keep the base/mane/marks you've already applied to him it would be best not to use the Customize feature. However, any markings available through Customizing can also be obtained through the Oasis Marking Applicator, which is 3 GB a mark, so if you wanted to avoid doing everything from the ground up that would probably be your best option right now.
