ALRIGHT SO. This idea is basically just a fourth layout background option that changes depending on what time it is. Now i understand this could be absolutely horrific to implement, or maybe not. I'm not sure i'm not a coder. those guys are amazing but this could be impossible for all i know.

But the idea is that you know how the day/night cycle changes every...hour, i believe? Don't quote me on that. Anyway, what does the day/night cycle actually DO? i know there's a base (cloudburst??) that depends on the wet season, and i admittedly don't know if theres anything dependant on day/night, but apart from that it's kinda...useless? except for a tiny easily missed aesthetic? (Correct me if i'm wrong!!)

While I'm a night layout theme kinda guy, i also love the day theme! But it's an either/or kinda option unless you literally set a timer to change them. Personally, i'd adore an option to have them automatically change each hour. Or, because some people would be annoyed by it changing so much, an option depending on what the lioden clock displays. Night theme around 8pm onwards, day theme 7/8am onwards. etc etc. Personally i'd highly prefer the former but both sound great!

i repeat, i have no idea how difficult this would be to implement. But it's something I've thought about for a good while now, but never thought to mention until the "new" desert layout option. also i'm a sucker for real/game time changes
