I don't support, but that's because I believe vitiligo is an idea towards pigment loss. While LD's take on vitiligo doesn't spread, a lot of times it does (more specifically nonsegmental vitiligo). An example is the cat, Scrappy, one of the most popular cases of vitiligo. Originally black, vitiligo has practically turned him white.

I could totally understand graying with age, but that's all I could imagine implemented into LD's expanse of markings. And greying would likely need to be implemented as a gene rather than a marking. Anything similar to the greying of horses seems a lot more difficult to pass and - as I myself am not a fan of greying - it may not be popular among those with beautiful cubs with the misfortune of the greying gene. And some of us are unable to afford removal.
