This is just a comprehensive little guide that I've made after 3+ years of playing to put all of my tricks and tips in one place so that new players can start off on the right paw and know how to succeed in this game.

Day 1:

The first thing when you finish the tutorial is to get some lionesses. To do that, you will need territory. You can get territory by paying for it, or for free. To get it for free, click;
Crossroads → Territory → Any Square
Look at the player's stats- it's at the top of the page, under their lion information. If they have lower stats than you, scroll down. When you reach the attack page, and if the attack is available, go to the drop-down and select "territory". This should net you one new territory space. You can attack once an hour and get up to 40 spaces this way. After that, you may be tempted to go to the trading center to get a lioness, or to claim a lioness in explore. However, you can get better lionesses with higher stats and better colors by trying a free orphanage, like Ana's Orphanage. You can get a free cub by going to the Giving Tree. Don't choose a male cub right now- you don't have space or resources to support another male.
Once you have your lioness, you will need to go hunting. Click on the lioness. Scroll down to her information panel with her name input on it. Enable hunting. Then go to:
Crossroads → Hunting
Select a space for her to hunt. She will hunt for 30 minutes. You can also buy food to supplement what your lionesses hunt. If you grow into a large pride, like mine, and you have a lot of cubs, then your lionesses will simply be unable to hunt enough food for all your hungry lions every day.
I suggest joining a food-sharing clan, like Feed Lioden or For the Love of Lioden. Begging for items is not allowed on Lioden, but you can get items for free over at "Giveaways" which can be found at
Chatter → Share the Love! → Giveaways
Once you have your prey, then click on it in your hoard and feed your lionesses. You can also click on you lionesses, scroll down, and choose any interaction from a drop-down to raise their mood. If they are too hungry or bored, then they might leave your pride. But as long as your lionesses are well taken care of, you should be OK.
If you have a cub, and you see an exclamation point next to their name, then they need to be protected! You need more than one lioness, one for hunting and one to set as a broodmother. To set your lioness as a broodmother, go to their page and scroll down. Click on the icon to make them a broodmother, then pick your cub from the drop-down made visible by your selection. When they are all happy and fed, and assigned broodmothers, then your tasks for the day are done.
To earn some SB, play games. You can go to:
Crossroads → Games
The best games are "Lioden Trivia" and "Serengeti Shuffle". Trivia can earn up to 60 SB a day for you. Harder questions give you more SB. Trivia answers can be found here. Serengeti Shuffle is a standard Candy Crush style match-3. Collect as much SB and food as you can.
That's all you need for your first day.

(Project to be continued.)
