Starting off with the good stuff I really love what this event has become! The art is gorgeous and I can't help adore what the staff of lioden has done with the gods. They're just so full of personality, ranging from cute to awkward (in a good way!) to Seth, pls!! I also think it's a good thing that we were warned beforehand that the event would be pretty much winged and learning by doing, which made dealing with some issues it still has a lot more palatable. Still, I think there are a couple of things that could use some tweaking:

1. The Gods and their helpfulness as companions

If I remember right there was a mention that the gods would be about the same amount of helpful in different ways in the original news post for the event. It's a good idea to give them skills that fit their godly roles (Anubis does the occasional crit, Bast heals you, Seth fights alongside you dealing less but more constant damage...) and giving the players the option to switch what god we're siding with if your first choice doesn't work out for us is just top!

The problem is that in reality only Seth provides any actual help fighting the chaos snakes. Bast's heals of 3-4 points feels like a bad joke when the snakes regularly hit you for 19-22 points and Anubis usually only provides a single 20 points hit in a fight, speaking from personal experience of using him on my main account since the event started. In comparison Seth hits pretty much always for 3-5 points alongside you, giving your attacks a permanent boost. I don't know if it's intended to, but it feels a lot like picking which god you want to side with equals picking which difficulty you want to play the event with: Seth - Anubis - Bast

2. Snake Strength

Okay, we were warned that the snakes would be strong at first beforehand, but so far I've noticed that they are constantly ridiculously tough. Don't get me wrong, they're doable and I like me some challenge like the next best player, but whether you're going to win against them feels a lot like it's RNG dependent rather than what you do as a player. My main issues with this:

The strength the snakes hit you with stay always the same (around 20 points each hit, give or take some), no matter where you fight them. Going into lvl 1 area or lvl 15 makes no difference.

Lion stats mean zilch when fighting the snakes. My main lion has 10x the stats of the king on my side account in each area and yet it's my main king who keeps losing snake fights way more often, even when I'm hunting in the lvl 1 area with both kings. Despite being way different in level they do about the same amount of damage to the snakes and take the same hard blows from them in return. The only difference is that my main has Anubis while my side has Seth (the only way to win against the snakes starting off with a new king) and that my main keeps missing way more often than my side for no discernable reason.

3. The quests are energy item sinks

Again I like a good challenge, but the amount of energy bars the quests this month are taking to finish are something else. The ones where you have to fight 15 felines or canines are the worst, since the high amount of snakes appearing seems to have replaced most of those encounters. I can and have spend up to 3 energy bars and not even encountered one canine opponent, which makes these quests a real time sink. Even the easier fight 10 snakes or 20 enemies of any kind quests still take a lot of energy just finding those opponents, not to mention that most of us won't win all of those fights all the time.

My suggestions:

1. Adjust the way the gods help. Seth is already pretty good, but maybe Bast's healing could be cranked up enough that it actually makes a difference as the battles goes on? I think if she'd heal 6 points rather than 4 that'd already be a huge help. In a similar vein the odds for Anubis joining the battle and hitting the snakes could be upped some.

2. Adjust snake strength to the areas they appear in and/or the stats of the lions they're fighting. It's frustrating to have an 800 stats king who keeps missing enemies in the lvl 1 zone too death and it's also no fun trying to fight enemies who keep dodging your attacks and hitting you back with 20 points against your own maximal 10 points if you have a new low level king.

3. Adjust the difficulty of the quests? Others have already brought up better than I can, so just any way to make them less time and energy intensive would be great! Maybe the chance of encountering the particular enemies you're asked to defeat could be raised while you're on a quest or the number of the enemies asked to defeat could be adjusted to reflect the amount of time it's going to take to actually find them.

What do you guys think? Thanks for reading this all in any case!
