I've been having a lot of ideas but none has outgrown it, basically a mutation that makes the lion look like a hyena.

but do not worry, your lioness did not go for a walk with a hyena, in fact HYENIS is a spine problem that still happens with the cub in the womb of the lioness.
When the cub is born, the first impression is that there is a hyena.

HYENIS

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

~I also thought of some texts for that...

-your lioness gives birth, all cubs are health, but have a different .. looks like a hyena .. WAIT ... HYENA ???-
-[cub] walks up to you and start a conversation, but realizing you're looking at him strangely he walks away quickly and back to his mother.-

-you looks the members of your pride, and see [cub] is away from everyone, you go and tell him to join others along with a message of motivation, he rises happily and goes to the others.-

-you watch [cub] play with your brothers, until one hour he trips and falls. and you burst into laughter.-

Since it would be based on the Spotted Hyena, maybe it could have a Hyenis-unique Hyena Spots [color] marking, kinda like a counterpart to the Hyena Stripes markings? I realize that that's usually for hybrids, but. XD

That's cool, but imagine a hybrid of lion and hyena? That would be weird. XD

I also straight up love your mockups. I, like... literally want them as custom decors to go with my lions. XD Or as adopts or something

Because blue-based lions or sentient lions or lions engaging in commerce or three celestials coming from the heavens during a meteor shower to compete for celestial world domination is very realistic. huygutycfGVHBJL

This has literally no basis in reality though. I don't even know how it would genetically work. The spinal deformation resulting in the sloped back would cause difficulty moving at least and likely shorten the lifespan. And changing the eyes and ears? How?

The creator didn't say anything about eyes and ears drastically changing. And couldn't the same be said about primals? How TF did they get so damn fluffy AND bobtailed AND long-toothed?

"in fact HYENIS is a spine problem that still happens with the cub in the womb of the lioness, which strangely also changes her ear and eyes."

Primals were based off of prehistoric cats such as cave lions and sabre toothed cats. All lioden mutations have some basis in reality, and I believe most if not all have been recorded to have occurred in the lion genus. This is entirely unrealistic and quite frankly pointless. This is a lion game, not a hyena game. We have decor and stuff for hyena lovers.

Oh, my bad, I didn't see that! :0

Easily could a mutation occur within the womb that deforms the spine; the eyes and ears are less realistic, though, as you said. Maybe that aspect could either be eliminated or explained in a different way?

The most I could go is a sloped back mutation like what you see in german shepherd dogs with roached backs, but I've never heard of that occurring in a feline. Even then the lion would likely have difficulty moving, probably be in pain and possibly even end up with a broken spine depending on the severity of it. I also see no way to explain the ear and eye changes. A mutation just to look like a different species is... eh.

At the very least, I need a hyenis lion as a custom decor
