This event, in my opinion, has the most dramatic endings than any other event so far. There's also several to choose from! After you choose your path, the current endings always makes me wonder what happens next. I don't feel like there's a need to make an entirely new second storyline, rather an epilogue. Perhaps informing you that next July, you'll be able to renter the past and alter fate? These will appear a few days before the end of the month, I don't think a reward is needed, since you already get so much from the ending. Here's an example of the Epilogue you get after choosing to HELP Apedemak: Fire is blazing through the savannah, you’ve seen something like this before, but this time, the fire seems stronger. The heat is so intense, and the light blinding. The lands will surely be charred, but you don’t seem to mind, not even angered by the loss of your pride lands you once cared so much for. You could care less for the mortal world. As you turn back, a thundering voice roars your name. You turn to see a figure arising from the fire, the flames bending to his will. [Oh, it’s this kid again.] Apollyon walks up to you, his teeth bared in a snarl. He doesn’t look great, his eyes are worn, and his body bruised and beaten. The fire rises higher, it’s roar deafening, but you don’t feel intimated. “[Name], I’ll never forget what you did to Menhit.” He claws your cheek, but you don’t even flinch. “I thought you of all lions could make the right decision. You had the power to change everything! To do what was right! You saw Apedemak and his twisted ways, but you choose to help him! Menhit’s gone because of YOU!” There’s pain in his voice, he obviously feels betrayed. You feel no remorse. [Apedemak was meant to become the Divine Emperor.] Apollyon scoffs, “Do you truly believe what Apedemak told you? About you becoming his ‘Divine Prince’? Apedemak thinks only of himself, your usefulness to him has run out.” He turns his back to you. “A year from now, you will have the chance to reenter the past, I hope you’ll make the right decision. Apedemak can NOT win.” A wall of fire blazes behind Apollyon, disappearing into the wind with him in it. Was this how things were meant to be? [Go back home.] |

While I don't mind the thought of an epilogue, your example.... I'm not exactly sure people should be guilted for the choices they made, why would I want Apollyon in my face after helping apedemek? 0 players like this post! Like? |

@Phantom Aah, I wouldn't say this is to make you guilty. Every story has a side to it, the ending you get for helping Apedemak is full of praise by him. I think it's obvious this wasn't the best decision you could have made, since you are helping his twisted ways instead of trying to free him from his madness. This is just to show what everyone feels afterwards, Apollyon would obviously feel pretty betrayed by your decision after what him and Menhit told you about him. But it's up to the player to decide what should happen, and how you feel about it. I just think it would be interesting to see what the characters feel after these monumental decisions you made. 0 players like this post! Like? |

You saying it like that kinda proves why i sincerely hate what they did to the character's for this event... idk I'm on the fence with 90% of suggestions for this event I really don't see how it can be "improved" as is without a rehaul, I'd like to support for epilogues (not the example given) but i can't really vote so... sort of support? It'd be kinda cool for alot of the events though, like wenet and the gods, I just really hate how this event ended up twisted but i support overall ig. 0 players like this post! Like? |

The storyline bugs me itself, it came out of left field with the original npc for this event who was... odd sure but overall harmless and just cheeky, with him and Apollyon having a rivalry and him being worried about his daughter now he's just... rapey, and its weird cause Apollyon reminded me of just a bad boy infatuation for menhit with Apedemek concerned about it too, he's the good guy even though Apollyon is, what, a doomsday lover? The storyline itself covers things you aren't even allowed to talk about according to site rules and cast really weird aspersions all around... sure giving the excuse the whispers drove him mad are... convenient, he still killed mehits mother, tried to rape daughter, you never hear about the threat to the kingdom and it getting fixed is... obscure at best. And to make it even better he's supposed to portray project breeders who inbreed their lions? I certainly don't like thinking my pride relates to a rapist. Even in apedemek's best ending... nothing is really said about uhhh.... every single issue that was presented in the story. 0 players like this post! Like? |
