Breeding
________________________________________________________________
Finally, breeding is here! Right now, only female x male couples can breed, but this is subject to change in the future.
As of very recently, you don't have to own both Star Saviors in order to breed!
Requirements:
- Both participating Star Saviors must be adults
- The female has to be in heat
- Neither parent can be on a breeding cooldown
- The parents can't be related
What if you want to breed your Star Savior to someone else's?
In the event that you want to breed your SS to someone else's, talk to the other person! ^^ It's arrangeable, as long as the person who's not getting the cub consents to having their Star Savior bred by PMing me. Also, if the one arranged to get the cub doesn't own the female, you can buy a breeding flower for the other person to send their SS into heat.
When you breed two Star Saviors together, a cub will be born, registered, and sent to you in a day or two. They'll have a cute little cub lineart until you use a Cub Maturity Crystal to age them up; which can be applied at any time after the cub's birth cooldown is over. They don't age up on their own; so you can keep the Star Savior as a cub forever if you want to! The only downside is that in cub stage, they can't breed. ^^
You can breed at any time as long as neither parent is on a breeding cooldown, and the female is in heat.
From now on, just ask me if you want to breed or buy items ^^ forms are clunky and tedious.

Mutations
________________________________________________________________
Alpha
This mutation causes a Star Savior to be much larger, bulkier, and have larger wings and tufts. Alphas have no visible gender difference in lineart, although they do have genders. They are a rare appearance in Star Savior batches put out.
The chance of the Alpha mutation passing with only one mutated parent is 30%. With two Alpha parents, this chance becomes 60%. There's also a very, very small chance that the mutation will occur randomly in a bloodline.
The Alpha mutation isn't visible at birth, and will only become visible once the cub becomes an adult. However, you'll definitely know before then ^^
it's an absolute unit
Piebald (Prismic)
This mutation adorns a Star Savior with a top overlay of rainbow patches and stripes. The exact colors of the piebald may vary, but they will always be bright and multicolored!
The chance of the Piebald (Prismic) mutation passing with only one mutated parent is 15%. With two Piebald parents, this chance becomes 30%. The pass rate has a low natural chance even with two mutated parents, but it occurs randomly in bloodlines at a higher frequency than the Alpha mutation. They are also to be put out in batches more often than Alphas.
This mutation is visible from birth. c:

Shimmer Vitiligo
This mutation adds a gorgeous, sparkly vitiligo overlay to a Star Savior's design. The mutation may affect the accents as well as base colors!
The chance of the Shimmer Vitiligo mutation passing with only one mutated parent is 10%. With two mutated parents, this chance doubles to 20%. They'll never occur randomly in the bloodlines of cubs, and are also sparingly seen in batches. The chance of an occurrence is somewhere in between Piebald and Alpha.
This mutation is visible from birth.
