~What is a Korrigan?
"The word Korrigan literally means "small-dwarf", although there are a few varied translations that relate to sirens and fairies. Korrigan are named after the creature of ancient folklore and rightly so because, like the critter of lore, Korrigan appear to be beautifully whimsical creatures on the outside, but they can be downright rotten on the inside.
"Korrigan, though not territorial to their own kind, fiercely guard designated ponds - nicknamed simply "Korrigan Ponds". These ponds become oddly luminescent at night. Should any unsuspecting passerby -be they animal or human- wonder near a Korrigan pond or a Korrigan itself it is unlikely they will be heard from again; either drowned in the pond or lured into the deepest parts of the forest, forever lost.
"No one is quite sure what species a Korrigan is. Some say they are related to felines, some say they are foxes, and others insist that they are evil spirits.

~Physical Attributes
"As the name suggests Korrigan are rather slight creatures, adults standing 18" at their tallest and 9" at their smallest. Their fur is often very short and coarse, save for the fur on their tails, which can grow to an extreme length.
"The antennae grow with a Korrigan, glowing only when they are of age to breed. Despite this, the tip of their tail glows at all ages. Generally, the antennae/tail glow the same color as the Korrigan's eyes. Older adults sometimes lose their antennae and/or the tip of their tail, as the tendrils become very long and frail the older a Korrigan gets. Korrigan can control the strength at which their antennae/tail glow.
"Their enormous ears are used like giant radars, seeking out any and every noise around them. Korrigan can see quite well in the dark but are easily blinded by sudden flashes of light or bright lights.
"Korrigan are often born with extra tendrils on their face. It is rarely seen, but some Korrigan do grow wings.
"Korrigan absolutely love insects and nectar. Korrigan also enjoy sweet things, more for the flavor than for survival. The more adventurous of Korrigan are well-known for breaking into wine cellars and drinking a winery nearly dry.

~Through The Ages
"Young Korrigan are nicknamed "Fae" for their small stature, being no larger than 5" tall, and dainty in appearance. Their facial antennae do not glow and show no color at this stage, and their ears are roughly the same length as their body. Fae prefer to come out at night and rarely stray from the Korrigan pond they are born nearest to. Most Fae have very dull colors that may eventually blossom once they grow older.

"Adolescence; Korrigan are at their most aggressive in this stage. Adolescents are the most likely to lead lost travelers astray. Most prefer to move away from the pond they were born near to find another or even start one of their own. Their antennae begin to show color, but do not glow. They still prefer nighttime at this stage but have no qualms about moving about during the day if it is required. Adolescent Korrigan are most likely to be seen in groups of up to 10.

"Adult Korrigan begin their journey into adulthood when their antennae first start to glow. It is at this stage that they can have little Fae of their own. A typical litter consists of around 1-2 Fae. Adults tend to live alone, but there are cases where a few same-sex Korrigan or siblings form small groups. It is rare for parenting adults to stick around after their Fae are able to fend for themselves, and even rarer for pairs to mate for life. Although Korrigan appear to be immortal, they are not. They have a very slow age progression; most tend to pass on around the ripe old age of 300-350 years old. Some can last to 400, but they tend to be very beaten and worn, and are usually Korrigan that have been in a group where they were cared for.

~How do I get a Korrigan?
Well, wild Korrigans are rare since they haven't been tamed and caught and don't cost anything! There are also tamed Korrigans that can cost anywhere from 50SB-10GB! Korrigans are obtainble with items! Customs are also an option but will be released sparingly. Same with rarer adopts. There are also anniversary and grand opening specials wich will be hard to get and usually are gotten through an auction. Each owner must wait 3 days before breeding their Korrigan and 2 hours before it can be traded. A custom must be owned for a week before being able to trade or sell it. Korrigans cannot be sold for more than what you paid for them! Kits can be grown using items or by waiting 3 days. A kit cannot breed until it is 1 week old. Korrigans age 10 years every day and die around 1 month-1 and a half months old. You will get progress reports and daily summaries on your Korrigan after rollover.
What I am trying for in the future:
~ A breeding center
~ A shop
~ Maybe a clan
~ Events
~ A trading+transfer+growth center
~ Lineart edits
~ All kinds of designs!
~ Custom center
