Hey there, so not sure if this has been posted, but as I was browsing my den looking for lionesses to chase, I had an idea about all the ones I have for trade. What if we had an option in trades like this:

You have 5 lionesses to that you can sell but will have to chase if you don't sell them.

What if you could set up a shorter trade, say 3 days, and that lioness would no longer take up a territory slot, and if after those 3 days, she did not sell, she was automatically chased?

This would save you space while giving you the chance to make a few beetles if you can for selling her. I'm open to thoughts, shoot it down or suggest a feature. Thank you for reading!

Suggestions: Adding a notification to the trade as well as adding a reminder into our daily rollover summary. This would show how many days are left before auto chase.

The trade cannot be backed out of or cancelled if this option is selected, due to possibility of exploits.

This suggestion has 25 supports and 1 NO support.

I really like this idea, it gives a chance for someone else to get the lion and if someone don't want to buy it, you don't have cancel the trade and go back to the lions page to chase it, it'll simply be gone after that. Maybe there could be a reminder in the daily rollover summary on the day before she's automatically chased though? "(Lion) is set up for a auto-chase trade, she'll be gone next rollover!" Or something?
Idk, either way support. Personally I put some of my adols up for trade but having to cancel the trade then chase them can get a bit tedious, so it'd be nice to set up short trades then just have the adols gone before they age up.

I'd love this! Also, on the trade page, just like the daily rollover mentioned by Phantom, it could say, " *Note: This lion is up for auto-chase in X days*" just to warn anyone thinking of watching the trade for a few days.

I see what you're saying but i just assumed the trade would have an expiration date on the trade matches when it's gonna be auto-chase... although it wouldn't hurt to have the trade pointed out as an auto-chase trade either lol

Yeah, that's a good point. As long as there was some indication of it - either way, I'd be fine with it.

Thank you both for the suggestions! I've added them to the head thread. :)

I don't support the whole 'lion no longer takes up a territory slot while in trade' part due to this becoming exploitable; I support the general idea though :)

Agreed, entity. I think perhaps making it so the trade cannot be cancelled. That way it cant be backed out of?

I guess just make it so that if the trade expires and the lion is chased, they no longer take up a territory slot and if the trade is bought out, the lion of course no longer takes up a territory slot. So while the lion is in the trade they still take up a territory slot, as they are still part of the pride for the time until the trade expires/is bought out. I can see some people deciding against selling/chasing a lion for whatever reason, so making the trade non-cancellable isn't a great solution for a possible exploit imo.

Yeah just like with a normal trade they should still take up a slot. I hadn't even noticed that was there, but yes it should function like a normal trade except the lion leaves after the set time.
