so a little suggestion that popped... For adult lionesses only. to make the pose Neutral into the default pose. and the default pose will be the neutral pose. ^_^' pros: - markings are more visible - new mutations will be on that standing/walking pose instead of lying down *current mutations will stay as they are (lying down pose) no redrawing suggestion here! - similar to the male pose (his default pose is neutral) - markings are more visible! cons: - difficult to code? - its not really necesary - people who have the pose item will be unhappy 'cause it will be kinda useless. (maybe can be refunded? or its coded for different pose.) - people unhappy because they paid for pose and now its default... - not all decor is up to date for poses (but soon will be! and then this pose will be prioritized for the upcoming decors) - some custom decors arent updated/made for neutral pose other way this change could be implemented: -current default pose/ lying down becomes a pose of its own (bought in oasis, gorrilla, monkey shop cheap or free) instead and -neutral pose app will be a new pose, maybe, a sitting pose (bought in oasis and gorrilla) so all neutral poses apps become a sitting pose. oh! A way not to ruin the coding, maybe, or not make people unhappy because their lioness suddenly changes pose: When this change is implemented all lionesses remain the same but the new lionesses will come in standing pose instead of lying down. hmm about the NCL.. maybe they will appear in standing pose by default when claimed, or! they could be in the lying down pose by default, that would make NCL kinda more different from bred lionesses that will have the standing pose by default. anyway the the support is simply for making the current neutral pose the default pose instead! |

I guess people don't like the neutral pose much? and like the lying down pose more I have question: Do people prefer the lying down pose or the standing pose by default? ignoring what has been spent. what if suddenly all poses were made free, meaning your lioness will have the pose of its personality. will people hate it? simply because they before had to buy the pose but now its free? It's a no support from me. This requires an unnecessary amount of coding and hassle for no reason. The poses were introduced to correspond with lions personalities. Making everyone's lion neutral defeats the purpose. By having everyone's lionesses lying down everyone has to buy a pose to change making it an equal playing field if a player wants to change it. Neutral is a "pose" for a reason. The lying down is a default and should stay that way. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I think the problem here is that not only are you making a previous oasis item free (which would be unfair to people who already spent GB on it and would make the applicator useless), but you're putting an already free pose behind a paywall as well. I would actually prefer the neutral pose for default. Markings look more clear on it. And I'd love to see the primal ladies in a dif pose than lying down. But I'm neutral on the topic, im fine with either. I'll support just 'cuz. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Also the male default pose is not "neutral" it's just the default pose. LD is working on adding male poses to the game. And you're proposing re-coding and redrawing all of the mutations, that's unnecessary considering the art for mutations and markings are already behind. The cons easily outweigh the pros. I love the neutral pose, but implementing it this way is just bad all around. 0 players like this post! Like? |

poses are only 1 GB (1200SB) thats cheap. its not really unfair, they simply got to have the pose earlier, its like those game that to pay to have a feature earlier, not really a lose since you enjoyed having it before others that took time to finally have the feature for free. (I play mobile apps and bought some stuff I could have earned for free x3) ---- eh male lion is neutral, that's why no neutral pose will ever be made for the male lions. no where is it stated that old mutations will be redrawn (they stay as they are, in the lying down pose), only newer ones will be on the standing pose. 0 players like this post! No support, simply because members have paid to purchase a pose to make their lioness look different than the standard. If the default pose was made to be the neutral pose, then those people would be out a golden beetle, which would be frustrating in all honestly. And to add onto the 'pay to have a feature earlier' statement, Lioden doesn't have anything that would be released earlier for some member than others. Any new feature is released for the community as a whole, not for a specific group that paid for something earlier. It makes the game fair to those who might not be able or want to use real money to play on an online lion breeding simulation game. As well as all the other points made above as to why this feature would not be a good idea. 0 players like this post! Like? |

This late in the game, saying the default pose was an early feature wouldn't really fly since it's been there since 2012 and afaik there are no plans to get rid of it (iirc, I think xy said somewhere that he'll never redo the old lion art. that was back when poses were first introduced I think). It'd be kind of like having to pay GB to bury your lions (any of them, no free slots) and calling it an early feature to have free slots, you know? The early feature thing only works if it's planned to be replaced or updated in a short span of time, not several years later. (Also 1GB/1200SB isn't cheap for everyone. I much prefer the neutral pose actually, but it’s still no support from me. More importantly than the GB people have already spent, it’s just a whole lot of hassle for what really seems to be no purpose. It would need a bunch of re-coding, there’d be problems with all the existing adult female mutations that use basically small variations on default pose (all the mane muts, for example) - suddenly they’d all need changing, because otherwise the pose they appear in (current default) would in your suggestion be paid-only. All kinds of issues with that. Then there’s the decor issue - not only is not all official site art updated for poses yet (there are still various items not done yet), but far more problematic imo is the fact that a huge proportion of early and even current custom decor is done for default pose only. So all of a sudden they'd become incompatible with the new default (neutral), and we’d need to pay for an extra pose too in order to be able to use them. I just don’t see the point of this tbh I prefer using neutral or kind poses for a lot of my lionesses, but I have no issue with the system as it is, paying 1GB per pose. I’d much rather keep it as it is and keep buying neutral poses than have all the hassle of swapping default and neutral for no real reason. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Honestly, I prefer the current default pose. I rather like it. I've only ever used neutral pose on a few lionesses. And that was ones I don't use decors on, as I stated before, there are some decors that haven't been caught up to poses. I'm just gonna assume, if this was ever a thing, that poses would still be purchasable so we could pose them in other personality poses as well. But even then, this wouldn't be the same as changing the current default pose to Neutral. Poses are a customization thing. I prefer the standing pose, but I'm not very decor-conscious so I never apply it. If suddenly all poses were made free (as in each lioness pose matches the personality), it would still be purchasable since, as Kit mentioned, it's a customization thing. People are still going to want to change it for one reason or another, not necessarily for personality reasons. Some people might put an evil pose on a good lion simply because they like that one better. Also like Myr mentioned, it's a whole lot of hassle. All of the decors don't even properly appear on posed lions, and people with custom decor would be in trouble since a lot are only for the default pose. Custom decors are also crazy expensive, so if the person who made it is no longer around to update it for the new poses, RIP. If they are still around, you'll have to pay for the items again in the new poses, which sucks tbh. AMPs would also need to be redone, like mane scruffy/fluffy/etc. because they're just slight variations of the default lying down pose. With the sheer amount of bases and markings we have, that is a ton of art to edit for the mane mutations to be visible on the standing poses. We're talking about hundreds (maybe 1000+) files.
