What is an Angellion?

An Angellion, pronounced An-gel-e-on, is a lion-like creature with bird-like features, such as feather growth found most commonly on their elbows, chest, and cheeks. They also sport large, feathered wings on their backs. They have been known to grow soft, silky hair on their heads that looks quite similar to a human's hair. Their 'tails' are large feathers growing from the spine, with only half of each feather having some bone. They have large teeth, usually resulting in overbites. Their tongues are soft and pillowy, and typically an unnatural color. They have a keen sense of smell, enabling them to more effectively hunt their prey or forage, as they are omnivores. Their claws are retractable, and typically are ingrown unless they are owned. They are fairly easy to tame, with their laid-back attitudes and curiosity.
