☀ MUTATIONS ☀

There is a 2% chance that a mutated Serpenae will be born to non-mutie parents.

Piebald
This mutation is visible from birth
White patches cover the Serpenae's body in varying patterns and degrees. The markings and colors beneath the white spots can still pass on to offspring. Piebalds have a 20% passing rate if one parent is piebald, and a 40% passing rate if both parents are piebald.


Albino
This mutation is visible from birth
Albino Serpenae lack pigment in their skin and pawpads. They can have colored eyes and still have traits & markings they can pass on to their offspring, these traits are just masked by the mutation. The mutation has a 5% passing rate if one parent is an albino, and a 10% passing rate if both parents are albino. This mutation also has a 7% chance of passing piebald.


Tailless
This mutation is visible from birth
These Serpenae are born without any tails. There is a 10% passing rate if one parent is tailless, and 20% passing rate if both parents are.


Overgrown Fangs
This mutation is not visible from birth
This mutation causes a Serpenae's fangs to grow too long, jutting out of their mouth. This mutation has a 10% passing rate if one parent is affected, and a 20% passing rate if both parents are.


Four Legs
This mutation is visible from birth
This mutation causes the affect Serpenae to only have four legs instead of six. The mutation has a 15% passing rate if one parent has four legs, and a 30% passing rate if both parents have the mutation.


Dwarf
This mutation is visible from birth
Dwarf Serpenae have short, stubby legs and are about half the size of normal Serpenae, standing at around 3-4 feet tall (click image for size comparison). The mutation has a 15% passing rate if one parent is a dwarf, and a 30% passing rate if both parents are dwarves.
