Just wanted to say thankyou to Cassie for thinking of this clan.
And also, the website I use to upload pics, decides that it should have wierd blie writing that shouldn’t be there. So just ignore that.

Here is my first October girl. She was quite easy, nearly all the markings went on that should have. Since you have four marks in the one app)
This was her before
81-EE6871-91-F1-424-C-9140-69186-E4-D9-B17
she dwelt

And after
B67102-B4-E549-4-D39-8376-58-B266-AEEE4-B
she dwelt

Ok so this month is for the October girls story; get them finished as soon as possible! Because we’ve got the November event girl to go!

The Great Flood
“November”
A great noice split the air, like thunder but rolling across the plains, you look up to see dark menacing clouds setting camp above you. Lightning splits the air, your ears ring. Then large droplets fall from the sky; making the ground and your fur sodden; plastered to your sides. You can hardly see through the driving rain. What is happening?

October Lioness:
Calypso

Calypso bounded through the shrubs, flicking stray branches away with her tail. She chuckled to herself, thinking about Maan's reaction when he finds out that she went exploring by herself. She picked up the pace and emerged from the bushes into the savanna. There was a herd of wildebeest in the distance. Calypso licked her lips. She hadn't eaten yet and was starving.
She crept low in the long grass toward a lone wildebeest. It had trouble walking and stumbled a little.
'Must be old or sick.' Calypso thought to herself. She edged closer and closer and was just about to pounce on it when the sky let out a deafening roar. Calypso winced. The sound must have startled the animals because the wildebeest had galloped away.
She kicked the ground. 'Damn it!'
The sky let out another clap of thunder and it started to bucket down on the savanna. Calypso sighed and turned to head back to the den. The rain was irritating her and sticking her fur to her sides. She was treading along on the sand and rocks when she heard another unexpected roar. Except, this time it wasn't from thunder, it was from a lion. She turned around, alert. Suddenly a huge lion leapt out of the rain. He landed on top of Calypso, pinning her to the ground. She yipped in pain as his claws dug into her side.
'What the hell are you doing? Get off!' She screamed at him, tears gathered in her eyes from the pain. His claws were slipping deeper and deeper into her waist. The lion just roared, Calypso's stomach dropped as she saw foam dripping from his mouth. He had rabies. She started to panic, afraid that she would get the virus.
She attempted to kicked at his stomach with her back leg but failed. He was almost twice as heavy has her and almost twice her size. Instead, she rolled to the side, causing him to collapse. She jumped to her feet and immediately leapt onto his back and clawed at his eyes. He bellowed and fell from the pain in his eyes, and the weight of Calypso. She didn't bother to wait for any other reaction, instead, she made a break for it and bolted to the trees and shrubbery.
Her muscles and wounds ached as she stumbled over roots and fallen branches. Maan was going to be so angry, but at this point, she didn't care. She had almost died and was happy that she made it out. Even though she was thinking about that Calypso still didn't stop running to safety.

(I make a nickname for them using the jumbled words of their name, that’s why it’s different)

Aww nice story Cassie!
October lioness:
inter tunicam sanguine-inter
inter tunicam sanguine

Inter growled to the sky, as big menacing black clouds rolled across the sun. She put one paw in front of the other. Kicking up specks of dust from the arid ground. She relished the smell of the grass under her paws, even if the grass was springy and dry. She was used to the ground of her den, where she was trapped each day and night, today she had been let out.

Inter’s eyes swept across the dying vegetation, and to the rain that had just started to come down. Pattering harder and harder by the second, making her fur sodden. Inter looked to the sky again as thunder cracked in her ears, making them ring.
She crouched low to the ground, her belly fur starting to be caked in sticky mud.
“My first time out and I have to deal with this” she grumbled. Inter would never admit it, but she was terrified.
A streak of lightning split the black sky, she kept even lower. Her face splattered with mud, her fur!
Inter roared at the clouds, her throat stinging. She started running.
Being pent up all day and night in a ‘trophy room’ made her not very agile, and that point was proven as she slipped and slid over the muddy terrain.
Jumping a sodden log she slipped and crashed into the ground; her legs flailing as her cheek hit the ground.
Blood splattered into her eyes; all she could see was vermillion, feel the stinging pain in her cheek and paw. The thunder and lightning screaming in her ears, the mud coating her body; the rain pelting on the ground.
“Help me!” She screamed

November Prompt:

You're treading along the rough gravel, thinking to yourself. Suddenly, you hear a bellow. You turn, startled, to where the sound came from. Hundreds of hooves are thudding in your direction. Chaos fills the savanna as a huge crack opens up in the desert's surface. You stare, wide eyed at all the animals screeching and flailing around. Everything stops abruptly as there is another deafening crack...

November Lioness:

Panting, I galloped faster and faster, pushing my legs to the extreme. I could feel my paws trembling every time they hit the dirt. Pushing all the pain out of my mind, I made one final leap onto a boulder. I examined the savanna below me in triumph.
‘Beat that, Nyala.’ I muttered.
I dropped off the boulder and turned to head back to the den. As I strolled back to den I noticed that the rocks around me began to rattle. The trees began to sway. I jumped in fright as a deafening bellow filled the desert. Hundreds of animals were running around panicking. I backed against a boulder, trying to avoid getting trampled. There was another ear-shattering crack and I stared in shock as the earth split in two. If I thought that the savanna couldn’t have gotten more chaotic, I was wrong; it did. Everyone was crashing into each other and creatures everywhere were falling into the huge hole in the ground. I knew I had to get back to the den, but the problem was that it was on the other side of the cliff. I spotted a massive tree that had a branch reaching almost to the other end. I didn't think, I just went. My claws dug into the bark, screaming in pain. As soon as I got the branch, I didn't stop; I ran as fast as I could, faster than I’d ever run before, and I leapt. I closed my eyes, hoping that I’d jumped far enough. I grunted as my paws, torso, and face connected with the dirt. I had made it. I panted, terrified of what I just did. The earthquake was over, but everyone was still going crazy. I left all the animals to mourn the loss of their herd members that had fallen to their death and went home.
