Pʀᴇʜɪsᴛᴏʀɪᴄ Dɪɴᴏsᴀᴜʀ Rᴀᴘᴛᴏʀ Pᴀᴄᴋs Rᴏʟᴇ﹣Pʟᴀʏ

A dinosaur role-play setting millions of years ago in the Cretaceous Period when dinosaurs roamed our world. Among them were dromaeosaurs, or 'raptors'. This role-play revolves around the pack lives of five different species of raptors. Role-play as a raptor in a pack. Protect your territory, fight other packs, risk unpredictable hunts, watch out for even larger neighboring predators, and other daily primeval perils in a dangerous ancient world.

To the north, where forests flourish with the beautiful view of the mountains, is a large pack of deinonychus [3.4m long+]. They are very feathery, not as large as the rest of their cousins, but, they are still domineering, fierce and primeval predators, an old pack of many generations that continues to rule and prosper in it's old ways. They are a hawkish, wild and often unpredictable subspecies that use their great numbers to their advantage. They work effectively together for their pack. To the far east where the mountain ranges and the desert is paradise, is a hardy pack of achillobators [6m long+]. They are belligerent by nature, army-like, and patriarchal. They are bent on the harsh life and survival. However, they are honorable, proud, and adored for their feathers. Do not confuse these predators as cruel, for they only match the harshness of their home. Every raptor must pull their weight and preserve their pack. To the west, there is a blend of forests, mountains, and vast plains prone to floods. There reigns a dwindling number of utahraptors [6m long+]. Native but rare to see in this time, they have successfully kept to themselves. This mostly familial type pack are a much older subspecies of predator, once a great dominating hunter, but now the species is low in number and slowly dying. They should be earthy or warm natural colored only with renowned red (or warm color) markings that give their pack name. There are a couple that are darker or have less pronounced markings. Very far away to the south, where a seemingly eternal sea of tropical jungles grow and beaches decorates every edge, hunts a pack of austroraptors [5m long+]. Colorfully feathered. They are neutral, humble, welcoming, family oriented. Do not take advantage of their trusting and laid back nature, they have a primeval lifestyle and will defend what belongs to them. Finally, there is a much newer pack, filled with dakotaraptors [5.5m long+]. They have just migrated in from the north west. Decently feathered. Very little is known about them for now. They are a newer species of raptor, larger, sleeker, more evolved, and they are quickly spreading their territory.

The Early Cretaceous period is ending. Still, the reign of raptors is rising. The raptors of ancient times have lived normally, surviving, hunting, and upholding the laws of the jungle. Only these packs have ruled this land. However, the Utahraptors are dying out. The reign of giant raptors is coming to an end and the wave may be coming down on the rest of the packs. While they continue to survive each day, the raptors face a new kind of menace that threatens their existence. The Nova Pack. A pack of Dakotaraptors. The Plague, as the other raptors have called them. They are a new raptor subspecies that is said to have disregarded the ancient ways and wiped out other species and packs and invaded many territories. Next to nothing is known about them.

Rules
°Follow WPG rules. Clean RP. At most PG-13.
°This is not a fandom roleplay. No Jurassic Park/dinosaur movie Rappys. These are realistic raptors.
° Your character may be prehistoric, but, they were not overpowered and indestructible. No unrealistic features, qualities, or attacks. The claw was said to do more than kill.
°Raptors do not coexist well with raptors of a different species. No hybrids.
°No one line responses. No exaggerative long and overly detailed posts. Try to be literate and just have adequate grammar and legible/understandable responses.
°No spam or drama.
°No power role-playing or god-modding. If you read everything up to now, type down Ostrom in the Code part of your application.
° Because they are dinosaurs, they can be colored whatever you want, but, nothing extra like really rainbowy, sparkly/sparkleraptor, bright, neon colors etc. I don't know if Wolfplay color defects were possible in dinosaurs.
°No mary sues/gary stus.
°You can not take a closed rank unless you make a new pack, in which case you make your own pack rules.
° This role-play is also LGBTA+ friendly.
° You must have signed up to the role-play and have been accepted before posting here!

Hi, I’ve never roleplayed on Lioden so I have no idea how it works, but may I join this role play, and are Microraptors, allowed?

As long as they're realistic, yes.
