The Celestial ProjectAbout the ProjectThe purpose of this project is to produce a king with a Celestial base, all four Celestial markings, all four Skyward markings, and Starshine eyes. ProgressOn my main account, I currently have a king with a Celestial base, Celestial markings 1, 3, and 8, Skyward marking 9, and Starshine eyes. On my side account, the next replacement is identical to my main king, which will help me to promote the growth of Skyward 9. On my main account, I currently have two Celestial lionesses and have very recently reached 6 of the necessary markings on two of my cubs, with the vast majority having 5 markings. My account has some, but is more Maltese-focused. I am mainly focusing on my main account and am continuing the project by studding to my king. Once I produce a cub with a Celestial base and more markings than the current king, I will stud-replace him until I have achieved all 8 markings on one Celestial lion. In the future, I will keep an eye out for other Celestial lions with appropriate markings and incorporate them into my pride, but at the moment, I am more focused on producing the markings that I need in the slots that I need them. I would like to streamline my bases to Black Dark Countershaded Uncommon or Rare in order to have a greater chance of producing Celestial cubs.  0 players like this post! Like? |

The Maltese ProjectAbout the ProjectMaltese is my favorite base, and I intend to produce a lion with the Maltese base, Skyward Crumbing, Feline 6 Onyx, possibly Feline 1 Onyx, and White Cobweb markings. ProgressCurrently in the process of acquiring Maltese-based lions. I am focusing primarily on my Celestial project, but Maltese is definitely still being encouraged. The Lethal ProjectAbout the ProjectMy goal is to produce a sirenomelia, conjoined, or extra limbs lethal mutation. All other mutations produced will be sold. ProgressI currently possess a Jellyfish with which to freeze the future cub. I currently have 5 buffy balls, 4 GMO cows, and 1 lion meat. Planning to use SB in January to buy more lion meat. I have been working on the project thus far by CRBing my Celestial female that doesn't align with my Celestial project, then using a GMO cow and buffy balls on her. Once she dies, I will probably switch to a Maltese female if none other are available. I need to sit down and sell my hoard of applicators in order to raise more GB for the cause. Probability-wise, I'd probably need to breed about 500 litters to produce one lethal mutation. The Natural ProjectAbout the ProjectMy goal is to produce a lovely natural female with Feline 6 Dark Brown and either Cream Rosette or Brown Rosette. ProgressThis project is pretty much on hold currently, although I do have on my side account a lioness with F6DB. Update: Vanquisher has just been retired for a Celestial cub with Celestial 1, 3, 8 and Skyward 6, 9. Bellicose will be replaced in the next month or so and will be replaced with 1, 3, 8, 9 unless I get a better alternative before then. I have chased any lionesses without Skyward 2, 5 or Celestial 4 from both prides. Hoping to add another marking before Vanquisher is up for replacement again. I have a female with 7/8 markings and two others with 6/8, but unfortunately no Celestial base- hoping to get a decent Celestial-based cub out of her before she dies. 0 players like this post! Update: Vanquisher was retired a while back for a Celestial cub with Celestial 1, 3, 8 and Skyward 2, 6, 9. Haven't been rolling over my side lately, so Bellicose is still waiting to be replaced with 1, 3, 8, 9. Have a Celestial female with Celestial 1, 3, 8 and Skyward 5, 6, 9 who I debated sexchanging and replacing Bellicose, but ended up using her for breeding. She's had two litters so far with buffy balls and IBF and has had all duds each time. Currently have 11 Celestial females without necessary markings that are being used for the lethal mut project, though progress on this has slowed a lot since GB are being saved for the 6-mark Celestial female's breeding items. Next goals: Get up to 7 marks before Vanquisher's replacement. Currently about 3 months out before he'll need replacing. Eventually I would like to have uncommon or rare bases on all of my breeding females. Can send Celestials over to my side if space starts to run out. In the very distant future, should keep an eye out for Skyward-based lions for the next part of the breeding project. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Update: Van is at 7/8 markings (just missing Celestial Agouti) and we are playing the RNG game to see if he'll finally drop a cub with all 8 marks and the base. Currently have 18 ladies with all 8 marks, several with rare/uncommon bases, and have thinned the herd to a minimum of 7/8 marks, with 6/8 marks allowed if she has a rare base. Starting to get bored with waiting for the RNG to finally play out for the last mark, and so just bought a cub to hopefully fill in the BO gaps by adding in Greige skin and a Slate Savage mane. Changed her base to Korat and removed interfering markings so that hopefully she'll produce cubs that can enter the gene pool. Have a nice stash of buffies to use on her and some of my top ladies to hopefully get this project finished (at least marks-wise) by the time Van is ready to retire. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Just as I was despairing of ever getting any good luck, I used a rock salt, opal saltlick, and buffy on one of my BO girls and got this guy! https://www.lioden.com/lion.php?id=794190719167 Celestial base, 6 of the 7 markings that Vanquisher had (just missing Skyward Undercover in slot 6, which over 30 of my lions have so shouldn't be too hard to breed back on), raffle marking in my unused slot 7, and Primal Fangs!
