As a fan of the bobbed tail and polycaudal mutations, I had an idea for a tail mutation that could be passed naturally. The tail would bend at an unnatural angle, and would be visible from birth. Here's a link to an example of what a kinked tail would look like. https://www.researchgate.net/profile/Madelon_Kerk/publication/273968104/figure/fig4/AS:294756476309509@1447286828219/The-kinked-tail-of-a-Florida-panther-on-the-left-and-an-x-ray-of-a-kinked-tail-on-the.png The idea for this mutation came from the Florida Panther (an endangered cougar subspecies), which used to have a lot of genetic problems like heart defects after the population was reduced to a point too low to maintain genetic diversity. Other traits like kinked tails and cowlicked hair were also extremely common but have become less so after the crossbreeding program with Texas cougars. To stay true to Lioden gameplay, the kinked tail would not arise as a result of inbreeding, but it can be passed naturally by both males and females. It would otherwise work just like any other tail mutation in the game. Leave some suggestions for flavor text below if you want! |

As a kid, I had a housecat with a tail like that, but not as severe as that xray. Her littermate was adopted by my parents' friends by total coincidence and had a much more severe kink. Nothing wrong with them, just kinked. Anyway, you hit me in the feels. Support! 0 players like this post! Like? |

A curled tail idea is on the masterpost, but a crooked tail is rejected (being that it's broken, not a mutation). The curled tail isn't the same as this post, but it's similar at least ^^||| 0 players like this post! Like? |

In this context a kinked tail is a genetic defect and can be inherited. I can see why a broken tail would be rejected because that's an injury the lion would acquire, but the trait I'm talking about is intended to be present from birth. 0 players like this post! Like? |

@Voidmaker I was telling Lily that a crooked tail was rejected because it was just broken ^^ 0 players like this post! Like? |
