Welcome!
This mutation breeding guide is dedicated for the members of The Mutie Post Office clan but anybody is free to use it!

Since this is going to be a long post, I'll try to cut the chase and make it as short, funny and full of pictures!

There are many ways to start a mutation breeding guide so, let's start with How Do I Get A Mutation Exactly?

Ways To Get Mutations
• Getting one with the help of breeding items
• Buying one from the trading center (The cheapest you'll ever find is 1000SB or 1GB)
• Getting one with a lioness whose fertility is below 10% fertility
• Breeding your lion to another lion with a passable mutation
• Gifted one by a person or mutation giving clans like ours
• Getting one from special events

Note: Passable mutations are mutations that can be naturally inherited by their parent, there are also mutations that are not passable

Now that we've listed out the ways, let's start with How Do I Get A Mutation With Fertility?

How To Get Mutations With Fertility
What is fertility you ask? Well, to simply put it, it's the chanceof your lioness getting pregnant. Getting mutations with fertility has a reallt simple rule, the lower the fertility, the higher chance to get a mutation. There are 5 different fertility levels highest being Goddess Fertility and lowest being Very Low Fertility, here is a chart to help you with it:

Goddess = 100% (Guaranteed pregnancy on first attempt)
High = 90%-99%
Good = 80%-89%
Average = 70%-79%
Low = 51-69%
Very Low = 1%-50%
Infertile = 0% (Cannot get pregnant at all without the help of a Chasteberry)

Note: Though I say the lower the fertility, the higher the chance of getting a mutation. Low fertility only makes the chances of getting a mutation a little higher, by no means will a 1% fertility lioness get a mutated cub in every litter.

Fertility Items
There are some items that can help you with fertility, no matter making it higher or lower.
WkToav7.jpgBlack Stallion
Gurantees your lioness's pregnancy first attempt breeding with her no matter the fertility.
egv6iUr.jpgTackweed
Lowers your lioness's fertility by 10% for one breeding, useful for lioness with 11% or more fertility. Can be found in Quests And Snakes for 60SB
DUaY7wi.jpgChasteberry
Increases your lioness's fertility by 10% for one breeding, useful for infertile lionesses as stated above. Can be found in Quests And Snakes for 100SB
1LyckWZ.jpgVuka Vuka
Allows you to change your chosen lioness's fertility category not including Goddess or Infertile, the exact percentage cannot be chosen. Can be found in Oasis for 3GB

Phew! That's done, now let's move onto How Do I Get A Mutation With Breeding Items?

How To Get Mutations With Breeding Items
There are many breeding items for both mutation breeding and non-mutation breeding, so let's devide it into those two categories shall we.
(Each respective item can be found sold at the trading center or special event)

WARNING: Mutatiom items work in some messed up ways!

Mutation Breeding Items
8b6QrIK.jpgCotton Root Bark
Fed to the female during pregnancy, the female will then have a miscarriage. The lioness will be breedable again in 3 days. Her mutation chance will increase, as well as lethality of the mutation. Can be found in Oasis for 1GB
YAZRuTT.jpgLion Scrotum
Fed to female before pregnancy, offers 25% chance of passing lioness's mutation. Will not work if mutation is not present
vmy5CSn.jpgLion Meat
Fed to females before pregnancy. It has a higher chance of 1% fertility or Cotton Root Bark but lower than GMO Cow. Chance of aquiring item by completing the Starving Lioness Quest.
AWLkzsg.jpgGMO Cow
Fed to females before pregnancy, the chances are said as higher than 50% but not 100%.

Non-Mutation Breeding Items
MIi8lOV.jpgGrain Of Paradise
Fed to male, will gurantee 2 cubs in the litter of cubs the lioness he breeds to
neHcKEj.jpgBuffalo Scrotum
Fed to male, will gurantee 3 cubs in the litter of cubs the lioness he breeds to
A2QVyD8.jpgCrunchy Worm
Has a 25% chance to duplicate mother’s looks onto 1 cub from the litter, this item will not copy mutations
oOJII3b.jpgGreat Tit
Fed to male, the next litter he breeds will all be female cubs
DBXmDrw.jpgRed Cock
Fed to male, the next litter he breeds will all be male cubs

Using Multiple Breeding Items
As you can see above, breeding items can be reaaaaal handy. What's better? You can use multiple of them at once! BUT, just know the fact that they DO NOT STACK. What does it mean? Well let's say you are using the Grain Of Paradise, using it twice does not let you have 4 cubs in the next litter, instead it's wasted.

Well, looks like our ways of getting a mutation without having to deal with a mutated lion is done, now let's move on to the list of mutations!

LIST OF MUTATIONS

Now before we begin, I want to tell you about our sponser for today! give you a little lesson about mutations that can be naturally inherited.

The only mutations that can be naturally inherited (meaning you have a chance in getting a mutated cub whose mutation is the same as their parent), is piebald and patches (by mother), all primals (by father excluding Ferus which both parents can pass), overgrown fur (by mother) and hybrids (by mother). The chances can vary and it's a good idea for new mutation breeders to start with breeding piebald and patches.

Note: All pictures shown below are from the lioden wiki because I can't seem to find any extra cub stages in mutie form other than there. Also, I'm terrible in cropping pictures, so good luck to all the perfectionist reading this
