Not sure if this is a good idea, but I thought of this before, and only had enough courage to say this. But what if some of the lethal mutations could grow up to be an adult, but just couldn't become king or be able to hunt. They could possibly be used to breed, but that is up to you and the team to decide.

:mutations:

Like somehow someone got Conjoined Cubs, and they grew up passed their dying date, and grow up to be an actual adult. But, they couldn't hunt, or be kinged because of their conditions. It'd probably be quite hard for them, many challenges, and even a new way of trying to keep the cubs alive. Like there could be new herbs added, and each day the cub would be needed to be given it every other day to have a greater chance of making it after they reach passed their original time to die.

Then there is the Cyclopia lethal cub mutation, somehow able to survive to adulthood, is able to mate but it would be a random chance of it being able to even breed and become pregnant the first few tries or it takes hundreds of tries to make them pregnant as lionesses. The male would not be able to be kinged, so they wouldn't be able to breed. Their lifespan is random, and completely unknown. Like, some could die around, or when a normal lioness usually dies, but they could also die earlier, like when they are an adolescent or older than that. There is not really a specific time for them to die, aside from it being born and it dying the next day.

Extra Limbs. Somehow would grow past their death day like the others that we able to survive, not able to be kinged, or go out to hunt. Can have cubs, but they mostly will be extra limbs, like the cyclopia and conjoined.

Now the Lipomatosis, extremely rare to live up to adulthood. Needs extra help from the player to survive, can't be kinged or go out to hunt.

Two Heads, like the others, somehow live to adulthood, can't be kinged or go out to hunt like normal lions. They'll need more help to survive, including all the other lethal mutations.

The Harlequin Ichtyosis cub is a hard one to decipher. But they somehow end up living, not being able to be kinged or go to hunt. Mostly would need to stay in the cool shade and in cool water to keep themselves from overheating.

Sirenomelia, somehow survives to adulthood, isn't able to be kinged, or go out and hunt. Mostly would sit around, but can still have cubs.

Now the new lethal mutation added, Cleft Palate. Somehow survives up to adulthood, but can die at an early age, during adolescence, as well as adulthood. They can go out and hunt, but they wouldn't be too good at it.

:percentages of survival chances:

Conjoined Twins: 4%

Cyclopia: 2%

Extra limbs: 3%

Lipomatosis: 2%

Two Heads: 2%

Cleft Palate: 3%

Harlequin Ichtyosis: 0-1%

Sirenomelia: 5%

:breeding uses:

They could be used for breeding more lethal mutations, or other non-lethal mutations.

:fertility:

They would mostly be infertile, so like them living, it would be rare for them to be able to have either a good fertility, or be fertile at all. So it is either they can have cubs, or can't have cubs.

Of course, these are just suggestions, and if anyoen would like they could add on to them!

I actually drew an adolescent version of the Sirenomelia and Multiple Limbs mutations! They are on my Instagram, I’ll send them to you!
