Hey all, I'm back again with the oilslick base.
alternative names being oilspill, gasoline, or even shimmer?





Based off of the iridescent, shimmering effect that occurs in spilled oil.

The art is fairly rudimentary, I mostly just wanted to get the new idea out after thinking about it again recently.

I think, if it were to be in game, the base should be craftable!
I was thinking there could be a new explore encounter, where you find a truck crashed in to a lake or river.
Your king would automatically scavenge the wreck and find either a rugged tire or an "acrid fuel".

I feel that around 30 acrid fuels would be a good number for crafting the base. Since 30 is the same number for natural glass.

First time ever trying to work with the Lioden base templates, so i'm very open to advice and i'm happy to give the PSD to anyone who has ideas for changes they would like to implement themselves, i'd be happy to add them to the post (with credit of course).





I feel like it needs a lot more work for me to be totally happy with it, but it's certainly a start.

I got the idea for this base, when @150910 mentioned something about a rainbow base in main chat. And while this isn't exactly rainbow, I still really like the color combination.

I'm tossing up between the name Abalone and Oilslick, with different methods for crafting and obtaining the base depending on the name.

If ABALONE, a user would need to purchase 15(?) abalone shells from the flood shop to craft a base applicator.

If OILSLICK, potentially a March base applicator. A user would have to find and collect a certain amount of spilled oil in explore to receive the base.
Good karma options for rescuing animals while collecting, and bad karma options for killing animals/letting them die while collecting.

Any feedback at all is really appreciated.
