Okay, so basically this item would be explore exclusive for one month and would be a rare encounter with maybe a 5-10% encounter rate. Item Name (wip): Spirit's Penance Item use: a sacrificial skinning knife that allows the player to kill one of their lions in exchange for the lion's base, which would turn into an applicator in the player's hoard Item available: Honestly this item could be available October or November? I think it could work into the lore for either month! I'm currently looking for a mock up of this idea just for fun! If you can draw please post here to let me know, I can pay for your art. Other than that I'm open to critiques! This idea isn't perfect but it could be fun. Thanks for reading! |

Tbh I really don't like the idea of making the rarest breed-only bases applicable, even as a very limited thing. I'd support if it excluded specials, but otherwise I'm not a fan of the idea that you could just apply whatever the most sought after base of the moment happened to be. Being able to apply Elysian, Orchid, Leonid, Sunset etc to your king or other valuable lion - just from having one random pride member with that base - would really detract from the limited rarity that bases have. Otherwise within days we'd have dozens of raffle-based kings popping up with double/triple/quad rosettes or whatever else, with almost no effort put in, and the market would be flooded :/  0 players like this post! I can definitely see where you're coming from! The idea is really just a thought I had, so having bases that are applicator only could be the component that's missing to make this item truly viable. Excluding breed-only bases might be worthwhile in the long run. I'd like to see what others think but I really appreciate you putting the time in to critique my silly idea! I definitely think something along these lines could be neat if it were app bases and maybe breed-only rares (eg Ebony), but just not breed-only specials, if that makes sense. Anyway, just my two cents! Thanks for reading/replying, and you have a great day too <3 0 players like this post! Like? |

Im not a fan of turning every base into an app. Breed-only is what makes this fun! Besides, if you have a really valuable base, you could kill it and slap it on a lion with really valuable marks/mane/eyes/etc with no work. No support, sorry. 0 players like this post! Like? |
