Stud racing is no longer possible. It used to be the case that you could send stud requests for the same lioness to multiple studs. Then whichever stud successfully bred her first would get the stud fee, and the others would get nothing - so a 'race' to breed her, basically. Which was unpopular with a lot of people, hence the frequent 'no stud racing' rules.

It's no longer a thing though, because now it's been coded so that you cannot send multiple studs a request for the same lioness, so it's not a problem these days :)

I'd like to add that there is still a kind of studracing possible, between the requested stud and the owner of the lioness themselves. Since it's still possible to breed to one of your own lionesses while they have a pending stud request. That way the same thing can happen: if the owner gets her pregnant first, the stud will have wasted his energy for no payment.

Stud racing is impossible to conduct these days, as one of the game updates prevented them from being made. In the past, though, stud racing was sending multiple stud requests for the same lioness, to multiple studs, which resulted in all of them participating in a "race" in which the first person to breed the lioness successfully would get the payment.

As for your "what makes a good stud question", it's quite a subjective thing to be honest. My general suggestion would be to aim at lions with lots of markings, especially raffle, rare applicator markings (you can view them on the wiki located at the top of Lioden's page). Then the same goes for rare or new special bases -- I personally aim at bases that are harder to breed, as it's more rewarding once you breed that perfect cub out of your rare based king! Some people also want lots of stats - usually anything above 1000 is good, in my opinion. The more, the better of course!

There's also some players that like to breed only to kings without inbreeding in their heritages. It's an optional play style made up by players so there's many ways players refer to lions as "clean lined". The most popular ones are "No big four" in heritage (legendary high-stat lions that were inbred a lot) or just "without inbreeding in heritage" altogether.

I would say that's quite a decent stud then. But as I said, it's a subjective thing. ^^ I suggest asking around Watering Hole forums about opinions on your king, if people would stud to him or not, what they would change etc. <3
