This is really unorthodox, but I've been wondering it for a very long time, actually -- I am a roleplayer on tumblr, I roleplay a lot of different characters, and my active muses lately have been the lion guard/king characters. I've been wanting to make a multimuse for lion characters to play with in the community, and some characters I've wanted to try playing as are Vashkartzen, V'kai and Wenet, as well as using the official game art as their RP reaction icons. I would never use fanart or unofficial art for icons, and I consider that stealing, unless I have explicit permission from the artists or if the art was made specifically for me, etc, and I always place credit where it's due somewhere in my rules page.

And despite the fact that Lioden is an official online game that has official art, I know that Xylax and the other mods and owners and all are on tumblr and they actively interact with the fans on there, I would feel very bad for using his art and these characters without any sort of permission and whatnot...

Ssooooo, yeah, that's what I'm asking --- not that I have plans now to RP the characters and stuff, because I'm still in the middle of revamping my blogs anyway, but for future reference, could I ask here and get an answer or should I send an ask to xylax's tumblr page or something regarding this?
