Hi,

If you go to your own profile you'll see this:

Next to the number of territory you see a (+), if you press that you can buy territory. You can buy up to 20 territory, after that you can only fight for territory up to 40 and after that you can only buy it for gb. I recommend fighting for territory since it saves a lot of energy.

When it comes to fighting for territory I recommend that you go to the search function at the crossroads (the flying bird near the top) and put in one level below your own. If you press T. Stats, the one with the lowest stats of that level will be at the top. Scroll down on their profile until you see this and select territory.

The player does not need to be online for you to attack them. The only thing that can stop you from attacking them is a too big difference in level or when they have been attacked in the past 2 hours.
Are you perhaps confusing it with the stomp/chase thing? Because that is for this event and has nothing to do with pvp.

Would also like to add that if someone has been attacked for territory and lost for that day, you will not be able to attack them for territory until the next day. :)
