I'm thinking of getting a tigon. The owner is selling her because she can't afford to breed her. Why is it costly to breed a tigon? 0 players like this post! Like? |

First-gen tigons have a natural 10% chance of passing down their mutation (Second-gen tigons are born this way). Second-gen tigons have a natural 5% chance of passing down their mutation onto cubs. According to this, you'd want to try breeding as many cubs per litter as possible, to have bigger chances of getting Tigons in the next litters, to sell them or get more Tigons accordingly. Since the most common amount of cubs is 1 and 2, you often would rely on Buffalo Scrotums that guarantee at least 3 cubs in the next litter. Buffalo Scrotums are a very sough-after item, which is very costly. You can purchase it only during events, and it's only 2 or 3 if I remember correctly. Many people don't want to rely purely on luck, so they give up and try profiting off of their hybrids when they can, and pass it over to someone who can afford such items. Hope this answers to your question. ^^ 0 players like this post! Like? |
