~Normal Species~
~Niampal~
Niampals are long, thin, almost noodle-like dragons with long, antler-like horns, as well as long ears, and a small mane down their backs. They are rather friendly dragons, yet they are also very calm. They can be found at many sizes, some being able to wrap around an entire house, some tiny enough to be used as a scarf.
Diet: Omnivorous, but mainly Carnivorous
~Chirnilid~
Chirnilids are long, snake-like dragons with long fangs, tiny-ish arms, as well as some ridges down their backs. Their tails have two long points coming off of it, one longer than the other, as well as a floating gem in the middle of them. The gem usually matches the eyes of the dragon, but it can change colors depending on the creature's mood, just like their eyes. They are somewhat aggressive, and you will know when they are mad or happy, depending on what sounds they make with their tail. A loud clanging noise, like metal striking metal, means they're angry or feel threatened, and a small clacking noise means they're content.
Diet: Carnivorous
~Annaines~
Annaines are somewhat long, kind of flat, and bulky dragons, with large armored plates down their back, as well as a giant one on their face, which is somewhat reminiscent of a helmet, except one with a bulky, protruding lower jaw. Although skittish, these dragons can and will fight you if necessary. If you are planning to hunt for one, be prepared, and maybe bring your own dragon companion with you.
Diet: Omnivorous
~Kephines~
Kephines are somewhat large, feathered dragons with a sharp beak, long ears, and feathered front arm-wings, similar to a wyvern. However, these dragons don't have back legs, the lower/back half of their bodies taper off into a somewhat fluffy and soft tail, which they occasionally use to hang off of branches, like bats. Most are extremely skittish and are scared easily, but a few people have reported seeing, and have even gotten to pet and feed, an extremely friendly one, whom we have named 'Razzy', due to their love of berries.
Diet: Omnivorous, but mostly Herbivorous
~Kocrian~
Kocrians seem like your standard, run-of-the-mill dragon, with thick, scaled skin, as well as two sets of horns on their head, one horn on their nose, and two fang-like growths protruding from their lower jaw. However, these beasts are rather powerful, as their night vision, as well as their slight bit of camouflage, blending into the rocks around it similar to a chameleon, can help them make any unsuspecting traveler, trainer, or miner their next meal. Search for them at their own risk.
Diet: Carnivorous
~Qoross~
Qoross' are large and muscular, yet fluffy beasts, who make their dens in The Tundra, using their large front claws, as well as their somewhat small, yet tough horns to dig through the snow, rock, and dirt, as well as their fluffiness to stay warm. Although these creatures tower over most, if not all, humans, they are really just gentle giants. Some villagers tell tales of getting lost on or around the snowy mountain trails, or perhaps even in a snowstorm, and passing out from exhaustion, when a Qoross picked them up by the hood of their coat and brought them to it's den, where it warmed them back up with it's somewhat immense amount of body heat, and then led them back home.
Diet: Herbivorous
~Imulae~
Imulaes are bear-sized, dog-like creatures, with rather thick and bulky legs, as well as large and long ears, plus a long, lion-like tail, and feathered wings. These creatures often hide during the day, burying themselves underground like some kind of hunting insect until the cool night air hits them. Then they get up and lurk around for any sleeping prey items to hunt, though they will occasionally de-spine and tear up cactus', to both eat and get water from.
Diet: Omnivorus
~Ipir~
Ipirs are the debatable cousin to the Imulaes, having a similar, dog-like structure while still being vastly different. Similar to Imulaes, they have a rather fluffy body, as well as strong hind legs, feathered wings, large and long ears, and a long, tufted tail. Unlike the other creature, though, Ipirs have long, somewhat dull horns, as well as sharp teeth that protrude from their mouth, and arms that have a 'cuff' of fluff around the wrist. They are also somewhat fluffier than the Imulaes, due to the cold climate of their home. These creatures are somewhat hard to find, but that is most likely because they only awaken from their constant slumber to eat, drink, breed, and the like.
Diet: Carnivorous
~Kalopes~
Kalopes' are large-ish creatures who have an almost dolphin-like body, with a dragon's head on it. They have many fins up and down their body, though they mostly use two main front flippers to maneuver around the water, as well as their tail, which has two flipper-like growths on the end of it. Their skin is smooth and slimy, yet it gets rather rough whenever it's dry. These creatures like to occasionally sunbathe on sandy beaches, but be careful if you approach one, because they do not like to be disturbed, and, although they can't move very well on land aside from just bouncing around like a seal, they have sharp teeth, and will use them if you're close enough.
Diet: Omnivorous
~Phiagan~
Phiagans are long, thin, and smooth, yet slimy creatures who dwell in the deepest depths of the Ocean, only coming up to the Beach to breed or occasionally hunt, if food is scarce down where they live. These creatures have long, sharp teeth, as well as some sails along it's back and belly. They also have a bulb on the top of their head, which they use to attract prey. As a defense mechanism, they secrete a dark colored, somewhat acidic toxin out of pores in their skin, the slight acidity in the toxin making the attacker or enemy's skin tingle and burn ever so slightly as the dark color makes it easier for them to escape. The toxin has no lasting effects, and it won't kill you, but it still hurts quite a bit.
Diet: Carnivorous
~Nurodine~
Nurodines are large, somewhat thin and dainty dragons, having an almost deer-like head, with rounded ears, and small-ish horns. These dragons have a glass underbelly, where they keep different types of liquids, whether it be water, lava, or some type of poison, and can spit them out when threatened, making this species of dragon somewhat dangerous. Their wings are also made of liquid as well, but they aren't able to spit out the liquid the wings are made of, which is the first liquid they are ever introduced to as a hatchling. It is very rare to find an adult without wings, but it sure is possible. These beasts make their nests in lava pools, or cover their eggs with ash.
Diet: Omnivorous
~Dubil~
Dubils are chicken-sized, fast, raptor-like dragons who have wings instead of front legs, as well as powerful back legs so they can run, jump, and such way easier. Their horns are curled back and ridged, like a ram's, and their tails have one large-ish fin on the top of it. These dragons are rather difficult to find, due to their quick speed, and their tiny stature, but some are troublemakers, and others are rather friendly. It all depends on the specific Dubil, honestly.
Diet: Omnivorous
