YEEHAW

I mean, you can honestly throw anything out there at this point - I did not plan on making this today (no big deal tho, I'm glad someone else wanted to do it too!!) so I have like...zero ideas XD

Oof

Perhaps, if you wanted to go on the darker side: something only desirable as "wrong" is happening with the dragons. Wild dragons act erratically, they do not behave as the grand, exalted beings they are known as. The patterns noted previously mean nothing in the face of their fire and claws. Bonded dragons are losing there touch, refusing to speak any language and behaving like feral beasts- even attacking their riders. The dwarves have retreated into there cities, blaming the riders for bringing the tragedy upon them, saying that any majestic beast such as a dragon forced under the yoke of a man is bound to break at some point. The elves say nothing, no word has been passed through them for some time. They are there, and their cities open, but every citizen is frantically busy; searching their histories and performing their rituals in any attempt to ease the wound upon their home. Human kingdoms close upon themselves, scoring outsiders and raising armies. They blame each other, and olive branches and bridges alike are burned.

Or:

Odd creatures are popping up along the continent, bewildering even the smartest elf and oldest dragon. Whispy things made of silver or gold, one second dancing in the scattering light and the next blown away with the wind. They speak no language, make no noise, and have no home, but wherever they appear they leave their mark. Animals and plants alike seem to bend to their will, forming strange beings and pockets of magical landscapes. They have an equally strange effect on anything sapiant

And then if you wanted that to be darker/negative or more fantasy/positve lmao

I actually like the first idea - would there be a way to maybe blend the two ideas together? Like these "beings" are what seem to be possibly causing the wild dragons to act like this, but even the elves don't know what to make of it or how it's happening?

And don't apologize for that being long, I love both those ideas!!

@SillyHyena - I would say just generally medieval-era clothing. If you wanted ideas you could probably look up Lord of The Rings character clothing and the like, since I'm not entirely certain how to describe it, lol

I've read the Inheritance Cycle before (quite a while ago), and may have forgotten some things, but I'll read the Inheritance Cycle wiki to make sure on stuff, so if I make a mistake, please lmk!

It could be another dragon, if you wanted Ais to have some kind of want for vengeance and whatnot, but if not, maybe another Rider?

Yeah...Maybe I'll open up the role of Ais' rider's killer up, maybe someone can have their dragon/rider be it if they want? Or if not it'll just be an NPC dragon, i guess. :'D
