I know that there was a post already with a lot of mutations but I just want to explain it a little bit more because it didn’t have a lot of information.

Polydactyl mean many fingers/toes. It can also be known as hyperdactyly. This can happen on both humans and animals.

I had a cat that was polydactyl. It was only in the front claws though. I now have a cat that is full on polydactyl but has extra on his front paws

Cat one:
1 extra Jelly Bean toes on the front

Cat two:
2 extra Jelly Bean toes on the front
1 extra Jelly Bean toes on the back

Now not all cats are you to have the same about of toes when they are polydactyl.

Here’s my proposal. I’m thinking about making the Polydactyl like the primal mutation. They have different forms of the primal that are better so have different forms of polydactyl with multiple toes that are better.

The basic polydactylism that is common if they get a polydactyl would be Polydactyl (front paws), Polydactyl (back paws), or even Polydactyl ( Both paws). The rare one with a change of breeding both Polydactyl parents but definitely not guarantee would be a cub with Polydactyl ( 2x front paws/back paws), Polydactyl (3x front paws/back paws), etc., Polydactyl (2x both paws), Polydactyl (3x back paws), etc., or it can be a mix of both, Polydactyl (2x front paws & 1x back paws), Polydactyl (1x front paws & 2x back paws), etc.

Cat example that would be on the lions page—

Cat one-
Mutation: Polydactyl (front paws)

Cat two-
Mutation: Polydactyl (2x front paws & 1x back paws)

Daily Rollovers for cub polydactyl:

These extra toes are NOT lethal but will need to be protected more as a cub. This is because cubs don’t know how to use their claws right away and have trouble retracting their claws. There claws where the extra jelly bean toes are going to get snagged literally on anything. So they will have a cub injury everyday unless you have them protected. If they aren’t protected they can rip of their extra toes and get infected and die.

Hunting for adolescent and adult polydactyl:

Once they are out of there cub stage they will know how to retract their claws and will hunt better because they can almost grab on to their prey better and hold on. Using their extra claws to sink into the prey easily killing it. So it will get more prey for the hunting party or by itself.

I will draw examples for this and update it so you can see what it will look like!

Polydactyl is actually a planned mutation via Xylax, it just hasn't been added to the game yet.

@Kiri [10k Dawn Mott Orchid] I know that it’s a planned mutation but I don’t know if it’s going to be 1 extra toe or multiple extra toes. I’m putting this out their so they can consider have extra toes and split up extra toes. Since it isn’t always 1 extra toe. I also wanted to explain what would happen to cub, adolescent, and adult form for certain things. I was wanting to get the full feel of Polydactylism out there so they can have extra ideas.
