Hello. Today, I received a chased Ashen gal and that got me thinking What if there was a combo base for Ashen? and boom! This was born.

I’d love to hear opinions regarding my combo base (Positive or Negative!)This is my first time ever doing something like this.

TLDR

: A Special Red Medium Countershaded, combo base named Chosmos. Factors : Ashen, Chosmos x Merlot, Wine or Chosmos. Not breedable in wet season at ALL.

Breeding Chosmos

This combo base is breedable at any time, however it is not breedable in the wet season! In the wet season, any factor, factor x Chosmos or x Chosmos x Chosmos parents would be unable to produce a Chosmos.

Chosmos has Special Red Medium Countershaded genetics!

Why such a specific restriction?

Why, you may ask ? Since on the surface, it seems like a rather silly restriction : Yet this is due to the base’s main inspiration! Ashen. Ashen is well, Ash. A part of this is also due to the name’s meaning, as the plant itself (That it is named after!) is native to Mexico, and Mexico is a pretty dry country!

Why the name Chosmos?

The name ‘Chosmos’’ comes from the name ‘Chocolate Cosmos’ (Or Cosmos atrosanguineus for the fellow plantiholics!) a plant that’s petals are a shade of washed out dark red! To distance it from the other well-know meaning of Cosmos (Stars, ect.) I have fused the ‘Cho’ part in!

Chomos’s Factors

Ashen or Chosmos x Chosmos, Merlot or Wine.

Chosmos x Chosmos can produce Chosmos, and it’s factors. (Possibly excluding Wine and Merlot, as they are somewhat rare.)
