200 years after Simba’s reign, the Pridelands have changed. New ranks have been added to fit the ever growing population of lions, but something has happened that some could indeed foresee. The lions of Priderock are starting to lack prey, and lions are beginning to go hungry. The majority of other felines, feeling betrayed by their cousins, have moved to the forest.
The Tree of Life refuses to assist, telling the Pridelanders to scale down the population themselves. With a Cold War between the Pridelands and the Tree of Life, active volcanos on the rise, and a cub with visions that claim the pride’s destinies are set in stone, will anyone survive? Or will the whole of the lion population fall beneath the paws of their ancestors?
