Ther are a few diffrent approaches to Hard Mode.

There is of course the clan that TonyStark linked you.
Defintely check out the FAQ for that as well!
Hard Mode clan is a pretty broad community of people who play with those restrictions put upon themselves, however many of us have out own rules added on top of that. That might be somethign as simple as "I don't stud to outside kings" or "my heir must be the offspring of my previous king" or it can go more specific.
Hard Mode as it is is a pretty chill way to get into the whole idea of starting fresh and getting a feel for how challenging it is to you and how you want to approach it.
Hard Mode can be combined with clean breeding but doesn't have to.

There are also a few players who have teaken it to a whole new level and started something called Liolocke.
This is a much more detailed challenge and very tough if you follow all the rules.

And then there are those of us who do soemthing in between. I've been playing Hard Mode for years now and have recently started a challenge of my own (see here) that was inspired by liolocke but watered down quite a bit to my personal playstyle.


You can set your own individual challenge tailored to your playstyle, needs and goals (stats, looks, heritage, lore-based,...). The possibilities are endless.
Check out some clans and forum threads, see if anything catches your eye and do whatever feels best and right to you. And if it turns out to be to tough or to easy, you can always adjust it along the way
