Do you mean you plan to customize a king on the customization page in Oasis instead of kinging and applying apps? If so, using the customization tool doesn't retire your old king, it just completely overwrites your king's looks. In addition, you can only use Oasis markings, eyes, bases, etc. Honestly, 100% not worth using. But if you're 100% sure -

- It's not retiring a new king, so there would be no fee.
- You can only customize a king while they're alive, so there is no additional fee.

And if that's the case, would using RMAs be better to apply Tier 0 and Tier 1 markings on an heir? Sorry for the loads of questions, I've never customized a king before so I'm not sure the best ways of going about it besides using apps. ^^;

- I'm not actually 100% sure, as the oasis feature isn't really used much, but I don't think it affect mutation. You'll need a second opinion on that one sorry!
- You could! There's chances for RMA and Breed only markings too. You can also use a marking applicator so you know exactly what markings you'll get and can choose the opacity.

Imho, your best bet would be to buy/breed a cub with markings you like and apply from there. c:
