The easiest way to get the base is to apply with The Guardian applicator, but generally that's a little more expensive than buying existing lions. More flexible though, because you can use it on lions which already have any other traits you want.

Otherwise it can only be bred from existing guardian based lions - with a very low pass rate because it's a special base - so that's pretty much why they always tend to cost at least a couple of GB
