(I've made these guides a few times on tumblr and have been told that they're useful, so I figured I'd post one on the forums this time!)

It's almost August, which means it's almost time for Buffalo Scrotums and Grains of Paradise to be available in shops again! Buying these and holding onto them for later months is a good way to make some GB, so I've written this guide to help you get the most currency from explore during this event!

This is meant to be a simple, quick "cheat sheet" of sorts that you can quickly glance at to see which option to pick for an explore encounter to get the most currency. All info is taken from the official Lioden wiki.

I'm going to prioritize Dry Bones over Carrion Beetles, because you can use DB to buy buffy balls and GoPs. You can use CB for decors and backgrounds, but I focused on the currency you can use for breeding items because, from my experience, they tend to be easier to sell later in the year because of their utility. You can also use CB or DB for maneater stud breedings.

Also, you can also earn DB and CB from playing Fire Escape this month!

(I decided to write this up early because I have the time, and will add any new 2020 encounters when they appear on the wiki)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I haven't listed any of the encounters that do not require a choice.

These encounters can give currency, but have only one option: Mysterious Stranger, Humans Burning Down Forest.

These encounters never give currency, regardless of the option you pick: Patrolling Human Party, Thirsty Zebra, Humans Burning Waste, Firefighting Humans, Golden Jackal, Doomed Wildebeest, Waterhole that Attracts Many Animals, Burning Lion, Panicked Elephant, Elephant Drinking, Deadly Scorpions, Farmer Fixing Fence.

I'm glad! I know a lot of people on tumblr found the previous guides I did for other months helpful, so I'm hoping this will be helpful for people over here too!

Thanks boniibaru!

Also, I've just finished updating the list for 2020! There are three new encounters for 2020, and all three can give dry bones! (the frightened impala, the burned carcass, and the humans at the water dispenser)

Thank you for making this I was getting an inkling that ignoring the good/evil shops would pay off better but I would have skipped some of these encounters instead of making the choice that gives the bones so this is very helpful!
(Plus I suck at Fire Escape so need to find all the bones that I can in explore)
LOL
